I put in an $85 dollar opening bid and won. How about that. This
one is strange enough to warrant a closer look.
Odd features:
Stock serialed to match
Odd wood/finish:This stock almost exactly matches the stock on a
Romanian spliced m91 stock that I owned
Odd finger grooves: they are not offset in relation to the cross
bolt
Only shellac appears to be on the handguard. Replacement?
No obvious refurb marks.
Rear sight leaf in the white.
What say you guys? I'll be throwing this one up on GunBoards

Interesting enough for 85 bucks that's for sure. That's like a
2006 price. Looks like an older import with the Cyrillic
translated serial on the receiver. Definitely worth a second
look. Can't wait to see your pics after you get it!

Heck of a good price. Three years ago I could buy them at RGUNS
for that price, but these days.

Good to know once in a while, one of us gets lucky. That's an
awesome looking piece and you scored it for the right price.
Hopefully we'll see those prices, or something close by about
2015.

I definitely got lucky. Then I hopped online and saw I won this
auction. Bonus! ;D
I'll post photos when it shows up. So far the general consensus
is an Albanian import with Romania a close second.

I'm just going to throw this out there, but I have never seen it
on a 91/30 only an M44. Isn't the polished to white rear sight
leaf a Yugoslavian feature?

On 91/30s I've seen it on Yugo's, Polish reworked PUs and a few
Finns.
