I wouldve done that deal. The one I brought back from bubbadom
is a Remington too. I just got an R marked front sight hood
Friday.
Shoot it yet?

??? You mean you traded your cetme off for this rifle right?
Are you shooting surplus through this 03, or that managed recoil
stuff they make for the garands? Always wanted an 03. I've
even made offers on sportered ones, but its never worked out for
me.

I load up a 150 Gr Bullet with 48 Grains of IMR 4895, apparently
that's almost spot on to M2 ball and it works fine in both my M1
and this thing.

very nice hash, I find the 1903 looks far natural and attractive
aesthetically to the 1903 a3.

The Remington M1903's were finely made. Made with Rock Island
equipment that was used to make WWI 03's. Even if ya' hug them
hard, they hit ya'. As opposed to the heavier Garand givin' a
push.
Have a couple, Marine RIA with straight stock is my favorite.
Would still like a Remington with a straight stock or C.
Nice rifle Hash. They will always bash your shoulder, but are
fine historical arms. Quality is .....

Well, I was wrong about it being my only. Got rid of the
Remington a couple months ago to pay off my car. Wanted another
1903 for my WW1 Impression, and scored this beautiful 7-18 dated
Rock Island. I've got a correct 1903 bolt coming for it in the
mail. Here she is!
