Ordered one yesterday. I'll post pics after it arrives on
Thursday if it's anything noteworthy. Also, 54 in stock as of
10:30 AM EST.

You and me both 54rMan. Broke enough to begin with; but with a
kid on the way, there is no way at all to validate me buying one
right now.

Got my Tula PU in today. It's a 1943 and happens to be in the
same prefix and 300ish numbers off from a 1943 Tula ex-sniper I
have. Thought that was kind of interesting. The rest of the
rifle looks like any old refurbed PU from the last few batches,
no "rare" scope or anything cool like that to report. I will get
pictures when it's done monsooning its ass off here.

Someday I have to get one of these too. Maybe this spring or
summer when work picks up again. I've seen a couple at cabelas,
but am not knowledgeable enough of the snipers to make an
informed on the spot decision.

I highly recommend a PU. They are a ton of fun to shoot and ooze
history. If possible you should pick up one from the current
batch of Group West/MOLOT rifles. Keep an eye out on Classic's
sight in the next few weeks for their returns if you want to
score want "cheap". Often times people return perfectly good or
rare PU's because of flaking shellac or minor pitting under the
woodline. Their ill informed loss is your gain :). Lurk around
the Sniper Rifle forum on Gunboards to pick up some good solid
info. Also, don't fall for any of the recent unsubstantiated BS
put forth by a certain few that the recent MOLOT batch are
fake's.
