People need to study the sh! t they buy.

Maybe I'm bitter. Ok I AM bitter. I'm not in the hunt for
refurbs but if I see a good one I'll grab it.
30 came in to my local Dunham's. I dropped in just in time to
find out the rifle going by me out the door was an SA marked
Soviet recapture, and it was bought with all the ATI bullsh!t
like a bent bolt handle anddrill and tap scope mount.
The clerk tried to talk him out of that particular rifle because
of the rarity, but bubba was insistent because of the nice
machining on the barrel etc compared to the '43s.
Clerk snapped a pic, 1940 Tula, with SA, D, and 41 mark. Bubba
says he's chopping it into a deer gun.
Jogged out to the lot and didn't catch up to bubba. Blah

Every time Bubba kills a rifle, yours go up in value. That's how
I try to stay sane.

Technically in this case, bubba is helping drive up the price of
a rifle I have yet to get, and I will probably have to pay out
the a$$ on the secondary market if I want one. Such is life. I
look at it this way, I've scored some killer deals and found
some RARE rifles, so I'm bound to miss out sometimes. I've
still been very lucky. This is the same store where I found a
'41 Tula refurb 91/30 btw. I like dropping in sometimes. ;D

I think I might stop at Fleet Farm today and see what they have
for 91/30's.

I'm pounding my head against the wall in frustration about other
people's stupidity as I started reading this.

Damn that sucks Dave, to bad you couldn't offer him $20 more and
save it from a fate worse than death. :'(

What about the stuff they already own. Idiot just sold a Finn
m91 stock, handguard, bands, cleaning rod and sling with hangers
online for $50. I shudder to think of what he did to the rest.
