Car-15 buttstock, how much?

So at a flea market I found an original CAR-15 stock, no buffer
and no cleaning kit it the stock. The guy is wants ten but can
go down to $8.00. Should I get it? It's in good-very good
condition. Yes I'm sure it a CAR stock.

8 is a fair price for an original in useable condition.

Which brings me to my point. You are 15, and just started the
hobby, and don't know anywhere near everything. Chill out, sit
back, relax, and take it all in. And most important of all, if
you are unsure of something,

It took me two seconds to find out that actual CAR stocks were
aluminum alloy.

A moment of inexcusable ignorance,I did and if its any
indication of what happened, pictures are really not worth the
proverbial 1000 words.

Live and learn. Still, I bet you could throw that bitch on e-bay
and get your 8 bucks back. You might even make a couple bucks.

I figured that for 8.00 I couldn't go wrong, or $10.00 for that
Chilean mauser stock.
