Picked it up. Your input is appreciated! I don't know a lot
about these. What's with the stamp at the muzzle. Doesn't look
like an import mark.

The BNP stands for Birmingham Nitro Proof and the numbers mean
18.5 tons per square inch. It's a marking that was put on
firearms by the British government when rifles were surplussed
out and sold on the civilian market. I've had a few with BNP
marks but never near the muzzle like yours. I like the rifle a
lot by the way. Looks like it's mostly matching too, and has the
mystery FR mark on the butt.

the snow we just got melts. The bore is superb, I'm looking

That thing should be insanely accurate, as most Enfields I've
fired. They are great firearms, and I'm glad you got one that
cool.
