New Finn on the way

Well, I have a new Finn on the way and it's a good one. It's a
pretty uncommon rifle, and I traded an uncommon one to get it,
but it was a double in my collection. So I guess you can call it
a sideways trade of rifles of fairly equal value, to fill a
void. I have both a '22 and '24 late date Tula M91 infantry
rifles. The 24 is cherry, but I bought it because of the rarity
when I had the opportunity. It never really spoke to me like my
'22 does. So off it goes in trade for a well used P-27 that was
asking to take a ride in the big brown truck to my house. Most
of the rifles in my collection are war-dog rifles, and this will
fit right in. Plus it's an antique. More pics to follow when it
arrives, I'll post pictures of my new-to-me Chatellerault then
too.
This will be my last rifle for a while, lots of pressing needs
taking priority here on the home-front.

The very same. It's on a '97 Sestroryetsk receiver with a bore
that looks very shootable. Looking forward to getting it, I've
never even had a P-series in hand before.

I never have either. As I said before, those relined barrels
kind of fascinate me.
