The ammo is non-corrosive and made by the same arsenal who made
       the '70s 8mm ammo.

Nice rifles, what is a duffle cut? Back on gunboards I had a a
thread about new steel case 8mm, appearently there is some
romanian 170gr FMJ steel case FMJ that just came in. I PMed the
guy who posted about it like 3 times and left a visitor message
about who and where to get it and he hasn't replied yet!
       [/quote]
Duffle cut is a cut (usually under or near the rear stock band)
that Gi's would cut to shorten the stock long enough to fit in a
duffle bag to bring/send home. This was done by a lot of
military forces, but a really common rifle to see them on is the
K98 due to the amount that were taken as souvenirs/hunting
rifles. That new Romanian ammo would be fun to try out provided
it's priced right. I would buy a shitload if it performs well in
       my 8mm's.

       Hehehe..... ;D
OK Sorry.....I just figured I'd get that out of my system early
while the forum is still young.

       They're refurbished Mitchell's Mausers.
Keep it up Clay, I might have to borrow some of Nass's Glee
girls if you don't knock that MM horse shit off. Or maybe I'll
just post a picture of a chopped up 1907 Mosin Carbine.

Cool, they're about 45 minutes from my house. That's a little
freaking high for non-re loadable steel cased. It's almost as
much as the PRvi 150 Gr SP stuff. I think I'll just wait until
it drops down, and if it doesn't, it's not worth it.
Do me a favor 54rman, post a thread about this stuff down in
the ammo can so we can get some feedback if people buy it. Just
seems a bit too high for what it is. Maybe I will buy a couple
boxes and see how it runs in some of my 8mm's like k98, Vz24,
       Turk1903,and the Hakim.

Here are a couple of mine. This one is a DOU 43 capture that I
got for cheap with an aftermarket Walnut SSR cut stock and a
bunch of extras for $400. I sold the stock that was on the
rifle and found one that fit the look I was going for and sold
off a lot of the extras. This DOU 43 is being built into a
"field armorer build" with a reproduction PEM mount and a
reproduction PE scope (for now). I am going for a unique rifle
that you might have found on the eastern front.

Here is a RC ZF41 built on a RC BCD 4 rifle. I have since been
fortunate enough to find a correct zf41 code "AR 41" k98 to
       switch the scope over to.
