My Vz24 loves the shit, but my 1938 42 K98 hates it. It shoots
way to the left and down. I still have a little bit of the Romy
shit left, one unopened can and a .30 cal can full. I like Yugo
the best personally.

I've been tempted to strip that shellac but this is part of its
heritage so I've kept it and the finish is in very good shape.

Yeah man, keep the shellac on. You can find non rc K98's,
they're still around. That bcd in my pics, I traded for a T-53,
Spam Can of ammo, and 75 bucks. Those deals are still out there,
just really hard to find. My other one, purchased in 2010, was
225 out the door. Just keep checking your local gun shops. Once
in a while these come in and they just consider it "an old army
gun" and mark it cheap.

Nice rifles, what is a duffle cut? Back on gunboards I had a a
thread about new steel case 8mm, appearently there is some
romanian 170gr FMJ steel case FMJ that just came in. I PMed the
guy who posted about it like 3 times and left a visitor message
about who and where to get it and he hasn't replied yet!
