Helmet, US? What is it??

I know nothing about helmets really, this is the first one I
ever bought. Really cheap, seller didn't know anything about it.
I took some really quick photos. Any input?

French M1951 with a dutch M1 cover. I have a bunch of 1951
shells, but no liners. Yours was made in 71. In 1978 they went
to the F1 design and used that until apprx 1992 when they came
out with their fancy rendition of the PASGT kevlar helmet.
Yours is pretty common, how much did you give if you don't mind
sharing?
