       L1a1 bayo

I was just given what I am told is an L1A1 bayonet and scabbard.
It is totally unmarked. Were they usually marked somehow? I can
       get pictures later on.

After you post pics, it will be easy to match. Either way, wish
I had one for my L1a1 lol.
I think they were patterned after the No5 Mk1 Bayonet. Cool
design, and hard to find apparently.

Sweet. I'm at work, I can't really get it out right now to
       compare to those photos. Lol
I also got what looks like a US WW2 style pot helmet, But I
gave it a quick glance before it went into the locker. looks
like a 70's date and maybe Dutch? I paid next to nothing for it.
       :D

Post pics of it down in the helmets section when you get home.
Sounds like you got a couple really cool things!

That looks like a mauser style retaining lug(sorry if wrong
term, the part of the handle that goes on the bayo lug and holds
       it on,).

Most bayonets have the "mauser style" retaining lug or so they
       appear.
