On the stripper clips that you had issues with, I think you were
putting them too far down in the slot. I had a feeding issue
with them because I put it too far down in the slot, I lifted it
up and it fed just fine.

No, it's because those clips are really tight and hard to spread
apart. They are the Izhevsk ones made from a heavier steel than
most. They only get better with use. Trust me man, I've loaded
probably 50k of these things into Mosins, it's not usually a big
deal, just sometimes the Izhevsk ones are a pain in the ass. The
best ones are the Polish parkerized ones. should have bought a
truckload of that shit and sold the shitty lacquered ammo.

Dude, I just shot 30 rounds if the 1946 stuff that came on the
izhevesk clips, yes they are a little tight but they all worked
as smooth as possible until I pushed one down into the slot too
far.

Alright, I'm sorry, you know everything, that's right. My bad

It's fine, just trying to help you by giving my rather limited
expierances. I had the same issues you had because I was pushing
them too far down, would only feed only 2-3 rounds.

If it goes "too far down", it hits the interrupter, and feeds
fine. It wasn't the issue, I would know, I was there. They're
not the best design for clips in the first place.
