Nah. If worse comes to worse I'll prolly just work where my boy
works but I'm sure I'll find something I'll like. Why? Know some
good CNC shops? I'm kinda picky about where I work. I prefer 3rd
shift setup on verticals doing mainly prototype sht that
requires lots of hand-editing and I'll only work in small
privately owned shops - I won't put up with politics and
bureaucracy of corporations. Had enough of that bullsht at GM -
and I only worked there 6 months before I quit.

I can't believe how long I just worked on these stupid flares.
Spent an easy 10 hours on this. Well at least they're done.

Yeah I posted that from my boys house cause it was in the shade
and looked good. The car as a whole just looks better when
there's no sun shining on it, it's definitely a "good from far"
car. My boy informed me this classifies as a "missile" car.
Whatever. But I still gotta get the new lugs before I take any
real side pics. I plan to sell the rest of the red lugs I didn't
use so right now I got a mix of my black ones, the red ones I
already used, and a some chrome ones holding the wheels on.
Still gotta make my center caps too, take a wild guess what I
did with this...

When I was pulling the inner fender liners out, I had to pop out
a few of these really small push-pins. So I went to the dealer
and bought a bunch of them to hold my flares on. I really didn't
want to use regular rivets because I want the flare to come off
easy if I needed or if I made a mistake placing them on the
car....

Couple more shots. Prolly gonna have to get an M3 front bumper
because it's wider and will fit the flares better. Right now the
flares hang out in the air like an inch.

The flares couldn't be mounted to the bumpers either, I have
them set up to come off really easy. The front bumper comes off
with two zip-ties hidden under the hood and the rear bumper
comes off with two nuts in the trunk. Not the greatest side shot
but I kinda planned it that way...
F@ck that side shot. I hated it. Pissed me off too much.
