Re: Doing stuff to an old Bimmer...

So after 20 days since I posted my to do list I have knocked 1
item off of it, then I added 1 I forgot... I have been battling
running issues and fixing the driveshaft after I shredded the
guibo and center support bearing. The good news is that the list
is comprised of stuff that is much easier than fixing the
problems that I've had and shouldn't take too long.
SoD things to do:
[s]Steering finish[/s] (still need to align it to where I want
it, but should knock that out at TnT on Thurs)
re-route exhaust to be legal
install battery strap
new tires
mount extinguisher
fix oil leak
get snell rated helmet
Adjust brake shoes
Overflow catch can

At the moment the switches don't do anything but today I'm gonna
hook the ac's electric fan to one to help keep the motor cool.

That shifter is gonna get pretty confusing when you put a
hydraulic handbrake in the car.

Naw that's easy. No hydro in this car... Save that for the blue
car. The cable brake will be fine for this one once I get it
fixed.

Knocked out a little of my list last night...

re-route exhaust to be legal
[s]install battery strap[/s]

fix oil leak

Tires may wait until next week but the rest should be done

Exhaust done. It's ugly and I hate how much it makes the car
echo, but it makes the exhaust MDU legal.

It puts the outlet right behind the passenger door. The
wastegate is still open dump to the ground, I figure Robert gets
away with his coming out the hood...
