Detroit - What's Good?

Things to DO and places to EAT and DRINK in Detroit Metro list
them!
DO: Packard Plant - duh everyone loves urban exploring. Can be
sketchy, don't go alone. Don't be dumb.
EAT: Green Dot Stables. Awesome sliders! $3 sliders add up fast,
but they're delicious and you can get sides that fill you up on
the cheap.
EAT: Vinsetta Garage: Everyone knows about this
EAT: Mercury Bar: Right by Roosevelt Park and the old train
station solid beer and burgers.
EAT: Slows BBQ (&Slows-To-Go) Solid Brisket! Soooo good. But
good luck getting in to Slows, waits are 2hrs +. Slows to go has
no wait and its the same food.
DO: Friday night ride. (Detroit Critical Mass) At the last
Friday of each month a hoard of bikers ride through Detroit.
Like 600+. You can find them on facebook.
DO: Eastern Market, saturday mornings? farmers market. I was
pretty disappointed with the small amount of vendors two weeks
ago, but it was also freezing cold. There are some sweet shops
in the surrounding area too.
Show me what you got.

Do: Slow roll bike ride. Similar to critical mass, but every
monday night. leaves around 7-730 from the majestic off of
woodward.
Eat: "Honest ? John's". in midtown. great place for chicken and
waffles and monte christo's. they have beer too, so thats a
plus. food is really good.
Eat: Bronx Bar. midtown, 2nd and prentis. its a bar. they have
really good food too.
Drink: Old Miami. midtown. Bar. Ryan yells at the bartenders in
japanese and pukes at the bar and nobody cares.
Drink: Jumbo's. midtown. bar. has live music sometimes. hipster
joint for sure.
Drink: 3rd St. Bar. midtown. A little more classy. don't puke at
the bar.
Eat/Drink: Park Bar/Bucharest. behind fox theater. bomb
shwarmas. and its a bar.
Eat: xochimilco. mexican town. mexican food. cheap. really good.
Parking: parking is free at greektown parking garage. greektown
**** has a people mover station inside. i recommend parking
there and riding the people mover to wherever you need to go.
$.75 per ride per rider

Its a bar where you can:
-Yell in japanese at the bartenders
-drink strange local brews
- pick up awful cd's from awful local bands on the bar
- Puke on your friends shoes while standing at the bar
- Still leave with your dignity

There is definitely a length of time where I have no idea what
happened, maybe it was the alcohol, maybe it was the bum weed,
maybe it was the hypothermia...
