Oh man what I would give to have shop space like that! I'm
working out of half of a 2 car garage...

Hell, I wish I was working out of half of a two car garage! Haha
but I bet the shop space came after a lot of hard work and
dedication. Congrats man!

The place is pretty slamming. It sounds like he's going to host
a bbq when it gets warmer as a detroit drifting/grand opening.

hahaha. thanks dudes!
it's a relief and a burden to finally have a place like this.
just hoping to keep enough parts sales and customer work coming
in to pay the bills.
I've been in it about a month now. my 80 year old grandpa has
been in there almost every day while i work my day job painting,
hanging some doors, cleaning, etc. it gives him something to do
so it helps me and him too! anyways, we've done a lot of
cleaning up, painted the whole shop, cleaned existing lighting
and replaced some fixtures too. its been a ton of work and its
still not over but we've been starting to do some actual car
work in the past week or so.
i've got most of my tools and parts moved over, but still need
to finish setting everything up.
i definitely want to hold some meets here over the summer! it's
a great spot to do it!
Current stuff going on:
-Customer's RHD s13 hatch from S. Illinois- did a cage in it
last winter. Here now for LS2/T56 swap, custom chassis wiring
harness, solid subframe bushings, misc swap related fab work.
This car will be getting the first set of our LS Swap Motor
Mounts.
-Customer's s14- in for storage. May do a 2jz swap in the near
future
-Shop project s13- This was my old pro-am drift car. getting it
back together to sell. Stock internal SR, GT2860RS, coil overs,
all adjustable arms, s14 5 lug w/lca's, modded knuckles, full
oem type x aero (rep lip though), real dmax rear over fenders,
and fresh paint.
-My s13 FD car- pulling motor, swapping built motor in, replace
steering rack, replace frt subframe, replace shifter bracket and
linkages, add FD wheel intrusion bars to cage, fix fire
suppression lines, install new aero, paint, FD driveshaft loop,
etc.
-My personal s14, q45, and s14 shell- future FD comp car
