anybody do there own fab work and weld? these are some welds
that i did today at work playing with the tig welder. i took a 6
week welding class back in 2009 at University of Northwestern
Ohio, and havent really messed with a tig since, untill last
       week.
the welds on the left are not mine, i did the bung.

I welded at work but never thought it was realistic to buy my
own until a couple years ago when I got a Diversion 180. Maybe
it's because I always viewed a $2,000 welder as being out of my
price range up until that point. That or because a good machine
always seemed to be one of those things that was never bought -
it was something that was handed down from father to son over
the generations - and I wasn't fortunate enough to be in that
situation. Well I got one now and man, I can't believe I was
able to make due without one for so long.

Nice! I want to get that same welder. I have a millermatic 211
autoset right. Maybe in another year or so ill get my tig
welder. I really enjoy welding and doing fab work.

I need my 10 pt 4130 chromoly cage welded into my civic.
I need to modify the floor on my S14 to get my seat to fit so my
head isn't hitting my roll bar or the roof, and make up some
sort of bracing for the front because intercooler too big =/.

i wouldnt be able to do the chromoly cage, requires a tig
welder, and i dont own one yet. i could do the work on the 240
though, but not sure how far you are from me.
some more fab work i did today.
