Need some parking lot events, something very novice friendly,
maybe with a separate figure 8 doughnut area?
Id love to see another mcm tour but thats moot right now due to
       my lack of car

Price. I don't think any event should be more than $100 a day no
matter what the size of the track. Really, I think $75 is more
than fair, especially when the track isn't an international
track that doesn't hold any sort IndyCAR/NASCAR level events.
As far as instruction - if any track is doing that, it better be
done somewhere other than on the main racing line. I don't see
how it's fair to make people wait while other people get
instruction, especially at events that cost $150-200, and
especially in the north where people had all winter to learn the
basics on the snow in a parking lot.
I don't follow you on "how many runs" because why would there
even be a limit on that?

Fuck a competition cuz I suck, jam style course all day. Maybe
mix course up in an am/pm kind of deal to keep it interesting

I have to agree with Ben, I love competing don't get me wrong
but I think we need to bring it back the grassroots feel that we
all grew up driving with the emphasis on fun and a cool
collective atmosphere. And I would have no problem hopping in
someone's passenger seat and showing them the ropes.

I'm really competitive, so i like the idea of any sort of
competition for drifting. Could do little small things for
grassroots guys that are just starting out, and cant tandem.
       This stuff keeps people motivated.
       Could be things like:
       Best entry
       Best looking
       Most improved
       Best run
Could even break it down into the run groups.
Prizes could be anything from a gift card for gas or tires, or
even $xx.xx off your next event registration.
       shit, even t-shirts..
Stuff like that keeps people engaged, and motivated to progress.
       Just some thoughts.
