Extra long racing harnesses?
By: Cavi Mike Date: October 12, 2014, 10:42 pm

I need a proper SFI/FIA harness that has extra long shoulder
belts to reach the rear bulkhead - I've measured this to be
minimum 70" Not looking for the stuff that plugs into the
factory seat belt holes - that places the belts way out of the
20* recommenced by most of the sanctioning bodies.

Why run to the back? Couldn't you just buy/build a harness bar
that bolts to the b-pillars? or is that not legal in your area?
I've seen the ones that run to the back but they always clip to
the rear seat belt spot which isn't what you want or to the top
bolt for the rear seat belt which is offset not directly behind
you.

I carry my extra wheels in the back seat so I can't have
anything blocking full access to it. I'm also keeping my full
interior and there's nowhere to bolt anything to the B-pillar
regardless. However there are plenty of mounting points in the
rear deck.
