How do they plan on doing that with a $240 fee? If you have that
kind of money to spend - you're not on the street in the first
place. People who drift on the street mostly do so because they
don't have the money for the track. I'm not broke by any means
but $240 is most certainly out of my budget. Streets of Detroit
was only $175 and I still passed on that.

ya anything over $65 is not really to bring people off the
street. Too much $$$$$$$$.
These competitions just cost more to run. Also street life tour
has a huge prize purse this year and as always friday practice
so $240 isn't that bad. It's really two days.

But seriously, do you automatically qualify for FD if you run
this event? Or is this ridiculous fee just to keep everyone
without 800hp off the track?

None of the cars at street life will make 800hp. There might be
a couple that do like Brian peters fc, but he's detuned to 600
right now. He will be doing FD next year if he has the funds.

Honestly this thing makes those guys a ton of money. The track,
Zerolift, etc etc.
But I think the entry fees also help cover the prize money,
which is substantial
