The award winning hip hop group zonefam massively represents
zambia on the international scene, last year they scooped an
award at the channel O music video awards which was hosted by
south africa in johansburg, the competition was tuff because
these guys were nominated in the same category with some of
africa's musical giants but zambians and the rest of africa was
voting so there was no big deal because africa saw the potential
and hardwork in their music.
The zonefam are currently signed under a nigerian record label
based in kenya called Tauras musik, they have been at tauras
musik close to three years now they have hit songs like
contolola, translate, the bussiness, and many more amazing
tracks which you have to look out for, these guys have really
contributed greatly to the growth of zed hip hop both on the
local and the international scene.
