Favourite Weapon?

Keep it clean people, what is your favourite weapon type?
I'm finding my main switch from time to time but lately I have
to go with the Switch Axe. It feels like a perfect hybrid
between an agile and powerful style. I really enjoy being able
to dodge so easily and the burst damage feels so amazing. I've
ended so many hunts on a phial overload :D

I find myself torn between the bow and dual blades - Selene
Moonbroken and Bushido.

I rather like the thrill of evading with dual blades. Makes you
think on the go, one step can either be punishing or rewarding.

I usually use Switch Axe and Gunlance. I love Switch Axe because
you not only dealing heavy damage, but you are also staying
mobile as well, which makes it versatile. I love using Gunlance
because it's both offensive and defensive, especially when you
are using Long and Wide type shells. Great weapons indeed.

LS would have to be mine, its fast, efficient, i love its reach
and effectiveness of breaking parts. Not to mention I spent
hours upon hours mastering every monster and evasion windows.
Though I find myself enjoying the bow equally as much. Switch
Axe is closing in as a close second though, although I only use
it on hunts I know I can be more aggressive and carefree with, I
just love that feeling of discharging a phial burst and wrecking
a monster

I derive far to much pleasure from watching rathalos plunge to
earth in a heap because I shelled his flying ass out of the sky
with my gunlance. That and Gunlance makes any Lagiacrus a
cakewalk =P

I had the pleasure of knocking either a Pink Rathian or a
Rathalos or both from the air a couple times recently (memory
has blurred them together a bit lol) with my Dios GS. Good fun!
I always forget to block, though.
I do however think that some jobs are easier with some
weapons...for example, while Nargacuga was beatable with GS the
first time i tried, the 2nd time, i took some Lagi+ DB for the
speed of it, and it was easier.
Also, HH and Hammer are good for breaking hard bits on Barroths.

Charge Blade is the most exhilarating weapon I have used, and
the most satisfying. As far as earlier generations, I'd say that
Hunting Horn is my favorite for 3rd gen and Great Sword for 1st
and 2nd.

I tend to switch up my weapon choices to fit the hunt. DB for
really speedy monsters, Bow when I`m online and not willing to
take to much damage, hammer for breaking tough heads, and LS/SA
for everything else. But the LS/SA definitely take the cake.
Soooooo satisfying to pull off finishing moves with them.

Hi, I really like Gunning so my fav two wep styles are LBG -
rapid fire elemental and HBG - pierce shooting large monsters.
Otherwise I choose a wep depending on who is hunting with me
(experienced or in-experienced hunters).
Hate hunting with kelbi bow users - so lame.....
