Anyone wanting to attend the Caldercotte Arms meet. Here are the
details.
Caldercotte Arms,
Bletcham Way,
Caldercotte,
Milton Keynes,
Bucks.
MK7 8HP
People start turning up at about 11.30 in the morning. Because
the meet is more Rover 75/MG ZT, it is rare for any other model
to turn up. However this is not a problem all are welcome. We
have our own reserved area in the pub. Food is good and they
have an offer 2 for the price of 1.
As you drive in you will normally find the crowd on your left in
the top parking area. When approaching look out for the
windmill. Means you have found the pub. There is a Premier Inn
on site as well.

Guilty of not being around much at all in the last few months,
havnt even made the halfway since christmas! Currently buying a
place so the last few months have just been paperwork and
spending money! Bit of an update on the Zed (as youll see from
my build thread) and determined to make the halfway this month.
Still need to pick up my stickers!

Good meet today at the Caldercotte Arms. 25 cars made the meet.
Got my rear seat fixed in Blue Thunder. Andy took the time to
take the back to his house, with me, and fix the seat. The seat
had slipped out of it's bracket and had twisted the pivot. The
price was, I let him drive the car.
I love these clubs.

What a blinding weekend. Drove down on Friday via East Brent in
Somerset to deliver some parts. Finally got to Portland Bill by
16.20. Had a lovely meal with Ian & Jan, my very good friends.
Saturday morning I drove down to Lyme Regis, Ian & Jan had to go
to work.
Came back about 1pm and spent the afternoon in glorious sunshine
cleaning Blue Thunder. When Ian & Jan came back, I helped Ian
clean his ZT.
In the evening we met up at the Lodmoor pub with about 25 others
from the 75/ZT club for a cracking meal plus fun and games plus
a raffle.
Sunday dawned sunny but soon turned to drizzle. Off down to
Nothe Fort for the meet. 17 cars made the show. 1 V8 even came
over from Holland, well not directly, they were on holiday in
the New Forest. A total of 3 V8's were there.
It might have rained but at Nothe Fort there is plenty to do and
see inside the Fort.
After lunch some of the cars started to leave. One was
travelling back to Manchester, Stu was travelling back to
Maidstone, ( Stu has been to the the Halfway House meet a few
times), Peter & Chris were travelling back to Poole, ( Another
regular at the Halfway House, Yellow ZS.).
I returned with Ian & Jan to Portland Bill in the sunshine. We
had a nice meal and watched the Moto GP and England beating NZ
in the first test match.
And now to Monday morning. After breakfast we said our good byes
and I travelled back home at a sedate pace, well as sedate as
you can in a V8.
