       Destiny Alpha Preview

       Got access to the Destiny Alpha version (so far looks like
       single player only, going to try again later). Wow. Definitely
       interested! It's a FPS RPG. Think Mass Effect but in 1st person.
       Travel to different areas for different missions. You gain exp
       and find new gear/armor. You can upgrade your powers. Everything
       is very customizable. There's this really cool narration that
       happens as you go through the story (starts you off on a mission
       in chapter 3 of the main game). The only thing I don't like (and
       Bungie was infamous for this in Halo) is the moon physics.
       Jumping and sometimes running is kind of awkward. The only other
       thing (and maybe you can shut this off in a menu) is numbers
       flying off enemies when you hit them like in Borderlands.
       edit: Oh, and the graphics are AMAZING. This is only an alpha
       build. Can't wait to see what the finished product looks like.
