       Daytime Running Lights

       I know this is a touchy subject but there are some who might be
       interested.
       Over the winter last year I fitted DRL's to my 2005 TF. After
       trying some off the shelf relay options I decided to use a
       standard 5 pin relay and create my own wiring solution.
       I used the N2 supply from the ignition switch for the main 12v
       supply and the side light supply to trigger the relay and turn
       off the DRL's when the side lights/main beam lights are on.
       Most of the off the shelf solutions rely on a voltage drop and
       my TF alternator voltage gradually drops below the threshold
       while running, hence turning the lights off.
       The lights I bought also have an indicator supply simply spliced
       into the cars indicator signal wire but not all DRL kits have
       this.
       I've attached a basic wiring diagram for any interested parties.
