       Name: Thomas Liam Hutchinson, goes by "Phoenix" (sometimes
       called Phoebe or Nix)
       Age: ~33
       Physical description: Bleached blond hair, falls to the base of
       his neck but is trimmed to about his jaw on the sides and
       front-- sometimes slicked back. Deeply hooded earthy brown eyes,
       piercing and perhaps a bit intrusive, but not overly suspicious.
       A long, angular jaw. Light, thin eyebrows. Pouting pink lips, a
       bit curved down then up at the very ends even when he's
       frowning. Six feet tall and sturdy in build, he is strong and
       healthy -- being a policeman -- but not overly muscular enough
       to be identifiable as athletic or someone who is more than
       habitually dedicated to exercise. When on-duty, he wears dark
       navy blue and has three yellow inverted chevrons on each sleeve
       under the State Police patch -- noting him as a Sergeant. When
       off-duty, he tends to dress in as much of a variety of colors as
       possible -- while he would seem like a fashion nightmare to
       some, he enjoys the divergence from the dark colors of his
       uniform. His posture is generally very confident and fluid -- he
       has very little anxiety socially and it shows through in the way
       he interacts physically with others. He is also known for
       contact with others -- putting his hands on their shoulders,
       wrapping his arm around their neck/waist, grabbing their hand,
       patting their cheek or tapping them on the nose -- in an
       unconscious effort to keep the people around him interacting
       with him.
       Profession: Police Sergeant, Louisiana State Police.
       Character's Personality/Mannerisms: While he can be contained
       when on-duty, he tends to be flamboyant and expressive when
       off-duty. He is known for not handling delicate subjects
       delicately, but he is known for his determination to understand
       others and encouraging them to confide in others -- whether it
       is him or not. He is socially very out-going, and has very few
       real secrets -- and, even those, if he was asked directly, he
       would answer honestly. He is difficult to offend and slow to be
       protective, and, in the case of a big argument, he prefers to
       fade into the back with quiet, sad people rather than try to
       take on loud, angry people. When younger, he once said that he
       would harbor a fugitive if they were a beautiful victim -- he
       may not understand why they did what they did, he would still
       want to give them a second chance and he would still feel for
       them.
