is the server off?

Is the server off? I have re-opened MineCraft multiple times and
it says "Cannot Connect to Server".

nah, seems like a bad server crash to me. or the host is being a
slut.

Very bad server crash, one I never knew about... So it decided
to stay off the entire day, with the exact same console messages
from hours ago.... Sorry about that, I couldn't do anything
because I wasn't home. It should be working now.

etc so I have no power on the server offline.
