: I carried the quiver at my side not like most who carried it
on their back, it was on my left hip. I held the horn bow in my
right hand and rotated both shoulders a bit then rolled my head
popping my neck with an audible creaking of bones.
I placed myself at a 90 degree angle from the target with left
foot forward and licked my lips. Reaching down right hand I
picked up an arrow by the fletching and guided it to the string
of the bow as I raised knocking it taking a breath as closed
left eye and calmed myself picturing the target in my vision and
releasing.

easy on me with that shot just to keep it sporting and all in
the name of competition and something or another. Turns from you
after I spoke I did a bit of a knee bend and flexed my back
hoping to loosen up some. I was not tall by any means I stood
about 6' 3' mayb 6'4 if I pulled my long gray hair back over the
top. Rolling shoulders I reached down with right hand and picked
up another arrow then raising it to the string of the horn bow I
lifted it up to cheek and pulled it back while taking a shallow
breath. Exhailing slowly I used that right eye to spy my target
and hoped to whoever might listen I didn't kill some errant
slave as I let loose.

incentive. Grins a bit as I take right hand and lift it to my
face and pull my hair back over my head with a flip to clear my
vision. I really needed to tie it back some time but never
thought of it until to late. Ah well what can be done and all
that such stuff. Bounces a bit as I flex at the knee's and get
comfortable I pull out the last arrow and bring it to my mouth
and wet the fletching before placing it to the horn bow and
raising it up to cheek as I draw it back. Drawing in a slow
breath as I close my left eye I spot the target and focused my
right eye on it then with a very slow letting go of breath
between lips I loosened the arrow and kind of sort of hoped for
a favorable out come.
