A Bazi Tea Serve

[I did not get the beginning of the encounter, as PoD kept
booting me out, but the serve itself was preserved.]

get you, Master?"

a drink here in the market. Ever that I can remember. Torcadino
right? What do they even have here? Kalda?Blackwine? Kalana?
Ale? oh oh, rence beer?? Are you sure you're qualified to fetch
drinks? I'm totally going to leer at you the whole way you know
that right?

mention of never having a drink here. What did you do? Drink
water? The sheer audacity if that made my head spin. But I had
to chuckle at your assurance that you would leer at me as though
I didn't get leered every time I meandered out of from my
Mistress's home, here.
I made a "pfft" sound that puffed up the wisps of hair framing
my face and brow and clutched my hand to my heart in dramatic
fashion at the perceived insult.
"Master, i'm a well trained slave, from one of the finest Slave
houses in Port Kar. Slaver Athir would beat me within an inch of
my life, heal me and beat me again for the pleasure of it, if I
did not know how to serve everything known to Gor."

had insulted your professional slave pride- Let us hope there is
no need for beating, unless it is purely for fun and involves my
hands on your ass. Alright slave girl. After such an expression
of confidence, I can't help but put you to the test. Among the
nomads, the slaves served tea that I found I enjoyed very much.
See if you might find me some Bazi tea slave girl. -a well
trained slave girl, thinks, produces what I would estimate to be
slightly more than required for my order, and the coins were
offered to you, flat upon my palm-

sort of Man, but there really wasn't a type who drank the tea.
It was enjoyed by high caste and low caste, alike. Therefore, it
was ridiculous to even think there was a type who drank it, but
I supposed it was my background that influenced the thought and
i'd only known my Taharian Slaver, to drink it.
"Bazi tea, Master. Of course. Is there a tab you have started?"
which was to say I needed coin, if not.

moment, as the coins were in my hand before you, but perhaps I
had not been clear, I reached down and took your hand, and then
placed the coins in your palm and closed your fingertips over
them- No tabs for me slave girl. I don't believe I've ever
actually ordered anything here. this will be a test run. -grins
down at you-

absolutely sure. I still found it strange that you'd never
before drank anything here at the market. So I accepted your
quizzical look, but I was covering my arse. I turned my palm
upward to accept the coins and curled those four fingers around
them before stretching to my feet and turning for the direction
of the best Bazi tea shop I knew here.

says to Snow of Brundisium: The shops were very close to the
market space area. In fact, the market seating space was
practically in the midst of them. On either side, there were
various shops, with enough space between this seating and grassy
area, to not make it feel claustrophobic or even minorly
infringing on your personal space.
I turned into the brightly coloured ship, though not well seen
in the dim light afforded by the lamps and made haste to the
counter, depositing the coin on the counter to get the attention
of the small, wizened man who owned this shop. He came out with
walking stick, grey hairs almost white.
"Quiet! Quiet! No need for that, slave. I'm not deaf."
"Apologies, Master. I am sent here to fetch Bazi tea and I know
that you have the best. "
He grinned with pride. "That, little slave, I do." He checked
the coin and collected them for his till and motioned me to the
back where he put the small, copper kettle to heat over a flame.
"You know how to prepare it slave, girl?" He eyed me up and down
and I gave him a saucy wink.
"I do, Master. The Slaver who owned me once, was of the Tahari."
The man slapped his knee and laughed.
"Very good, then, slave girl. Prepare it and I will get to enjoy
this while the man waiting will enjoy the serve." I dipped my
head.
"Yes, Master. Thank you."
I prepared the tray with spoon and three tiny, glass cups that
were cylindrical in shape and heavy. They were also encased in
what seemed like copper filigree and a small handle on each of
the same copper.

says to Snow of Brundisium: The copper kettle began to tremble
over the flame and he fetched a mitt made of thick, rep, cloth
and took the kettle off the fire, bringing it to me where he set
it on the tray on a clay square that would prevent the kettle
from burning the wooden tray. Meanwhile, I took the rectangular
tin, that I knew to house the tea off the shelf and measured the
tea into the copper kettle. By the time I walked back to the
Master waiting for it the tea would have been steeped and I
could pour the tea into each glass, which held about two ounces
each.
Bazi tea was also heavily sugared, and so I spooned the white
sugar into the kettle, spoon after spoon, stopping after four.
It was a sweet, almost syrupy drink, but not a syrup. Any slave
who made the mistake of putting to much sugar into the tea was
doomed.
Thanking the Master, who was pleased in how I had made the tea I
turned with tray in hand and headed out the door, returning to
where I had left you. Standing before you, I would kneel to that
nadu once again and set the tray upon the low table. I poured
the tea gracefully into each cup, beginning with the spout
closer to the lip of the glass cup and then arcing it higher so
it poured beautifully. One, two and three. Once they were
served, my head dipped low so that hair came crashing down in a
veil of utter night, and offered softly.
"It is my pleasure to serve you, Bazi tea, Master. I hope you
find it and a slave, pleasing."

expectations with your serve, I took you in as you returned,
eyes tracking you from toes to the tips of your hair on your
head, hips breasts and lips, and tea, I smiled seeing that there
were three cups, hot, poured, and undoubtedly perfect- Slave
girl, not only am I pleased with your serve. I believe that
Slaver Athir would also be pleased. Or, knowing how slavers
behave, he at least would not beat you. Lets see how it tastes.
-I picked up the first cup of tea, carefully, using the handle,
i took a moment to inhale, then a moment to do so again, before
taking a taste, just a sip since it steamed- Not to sweet, just
right. You did well slave girl. I don't normally drink tea, but
I was curious about your boast and thought I would try something
a little different than what is commonly ordered. That, and it
gave me a 360 view of your body. -takes another sip-

you. I knew I could have done things better, but I was almost as
harsh a critic as a Slaver. Still, you'd been pleased and in
fact, I focused on that, because in the realm of my existence,
that was the only thing that mattered. Well, that you were
pleased and my Mistress pleased.
A smile brightened along my features, my hands relaxing in my
lap and I chuckled at your remark on not normally drinking the
tea.
"Now I am wondering the width of that margin of error, Master.
Seeing as you don't normally drink, Bazi tea." I was being
cheeky, of course and grinning. I hoped you would forgive the
tilt toward sauciness. But it was irresistible.
[The Master had to retire so we said our good-byes at that point
since I was tired also.]
