ships are stocked and all we need to do is gather our
belongings... I will need you to pack My tunics three in all and
2 pairs of leathers ..I will gather the other items I will
need.. you also will need some clothing for you....." my hand
would move to rest over my chin.... I will be buying some new
items for you girls also and something to keep my thrall warm in
the winter.....But yes almost ready.....are you excited for the
Fair?"

instead of ships and blames my medications] i was excited. In
fact, it seemed to radiate from me. There was a glow of
anticipation as i thought about being on Thassa again. Even in
the cold. i found the cold breeze invigorating and would often
make my way to the prow of the ship and just close my eyes,
letting the wind soak through me.
Another perk in my expression and glint in deep, jade, hues at
the mention of purchasing clothes. i wasn't one to obsess about
possessions and i was content with everything you'd given me,
but it was always exciting to get new things.
"i will make sure to pack your things, my Mistress. And yes, i
am excited. i have been going to fair for as long as i can
remember. i still know many of the merchants and they still talk
to me."

reluctant, but i wanted to please you also. There were many
things that had changed since i came to Hulneth, although i
still remained, fundamentally the same. But i still found myself
as compelled to the shadows as i was before, though in the same
breath, exposed myself much more than i had. But the games would
be a difficult hurdle, and yet, i wasn't opposed to the
challenge.
"i will, of course, Mistress. Will jamee be participating as
well?" if i could have a partner in crime, i knew it would help,
but i wouldn't back away just because she may be busy with other
things you needed of her. But, now i beamed at the thought of
introducing you to tea merchants i once bought and sold tea to.
Of course, my friend and mentor, Layla had since passed on, but
i'd managed to place another young, aspiring girl into her
position. She had done a beautiful job and so i took comfort
that Layla's business had not died with her.

cheer for you...as you will be when I am doing the archery....I
had seen a change in you here in Hulneth..you seemed to be
settled...your test now would be the Fair and how you managed
with so many about... I would not push you I would support
you...but I would also always be close in case you needed that
security of your Mistress...I was looking forward to seeing you
manage well....as for the tea Merchants this would put you in a
comfort zone one you would shine in I was sure of that...."I

adored most about you. The way you handled your slaves. Of
course there was a time for pushing and punishment, but your
first choice was to support. And through supporting you gained
trust and a slave's desire to push through those barriers. It
made me smile because so many did not understand. i knew some
men did not think i belonged in a woman's collar. They felt i
was missing out. But the truth was i'd flourished more here than
anywhere else and i was happy. The fair would be a test in how i
handled the discomfort of crowds. One would think being brought
up in Port Kar i would not mind, but while i grew up in Port
Kar, i'd spent a lifetime almost as a recluse. It was about time
i broke through those chains.
