Tiberius's passing and was sorry to hear that happened.

expensive, I have 4 week old aged cheeses that are quite firm
and smoked....can I bring you those? they are about 8 stones in
weight each, while the older ones are 32 stones in weight...

-- Somewhere on the docks . You can be on a ship or simply
walking the docks. --
It was early morning jamee and I had left with one of the
wagons…4 of the crew left with us… when we arrived at the docks
-The Lady Nyah- was moored and the Captain had started to
organise the hull for the veer and other animals… we left the
wagon and had the Men off load the animals… when done they would
bring two of the wagons to the warehouse … so stock could be
loaded and taken back to the -Lady Nyah- ready to be loaded
also…..
as I moved along the wooden docks i spoke with jamee re the trip
…she was aware of what was happening and what items we would
need to get sorted for Hulneth…. this made things so much easier
for me…..

Was not long and we both stood at the front of the Warehouse…
marked with the Name of Hulneth.. I pulled at the keys That hung
from my belt… messing through the keys I tried a couple then
with luck the door was unlocked….The Guards then pulled the door
back and checked inside… jamee moving round to light the many
lanterns so we had surficiant light..Was then I moved through
the open door….
"Two wagons will arrive soon and goods will be taken from here
Under the Order Jarl Aesir…" the guards smiled knowing that I
had authority to move and deliver all i wanted…but also knew I
was one who always confirmed my business…so noone could have a
say….

stepped past the guards …into the lighted room and gave a
grin….All was here so far …nothing moved taken nor damaged …well
as far as what I could see….was then the wagons arrived and into
the warehouse moved the thralls to load the goods I needed…
"jamee you hunt for the chest of kirtles for the bonds the boots
and cloaks…you do recall the chest yes"?
she looked back to me and nodded….
"the one with the huge serpent head Mistress?Jarl Joes old
box?the one with the fur lined nickers in it?" and she chuckled
to herself and took off climbing over the bundles of furs in
search for Mistress Nyah's box..
I watched as she scampered and jumped from one pile to another
then disappeared….-

As the thralls moved into the warehouse I called them over
…pointing to items as I passed…
"you follow Me" as I motioned to the fist thrall and made my way
over to the right hand side of the warehouse….
I set all of my warehouses the same so i knew when I walked in
where items were and how much I had per ledger book….
I gripped the bridles that hung from the hook
"4 bridles and Bits and leather strappings to go with these…also
4 driving ,Bosk for pulling Wagons"…I pointed and looked to the
boy…"these 4 of them…Also rope I want all that rope " and
pointed to the rolls of all sized ropes and twine
"Sort those and have them loaded asap"
I moved along the path leaving that lad to organise The few
items and had the next thrall follow me…
"can you count ?" I asked bluntly…
the boy shook his head "no Mistress"
stopping at the bundles of furs and I spoke softly…"today you
learn….you have 10 fingers and I want 10 bundles of these
assorted furs….so you will load up all 10 onto the wagon…make a
mistake and you will loose a finger for each mistake….let me
know when done"
the boy looked at his fingers and moved off quickly bundles of
furs Thrown over His shoulders…. I had to laugh….

the next thrall quickly stepped up and continued to follow
me…..I moved to the rear of the warehouse and stopped pointing
to a Cart…
"That " I motioned… I want it taken to the ship…load it with
cylinders of salt….come"
I moved over to where the salts were stacked.. pulling out my
blade I marked the Cylinders I wanted loaded to the cart
"2 Sea Salt…2 red salt…2 white…2 yellow…2 yellow sugar..2 white
sugar" the blade scratched a mark in each of the cylinders then
moved to where the sacks were stacked…10 of those……Sa-Tarns
Grain sacks…10 Sa-Tarna meal and 10 Sa-Tarna flour and 4 sacks
of Blackbean and 4..Coco beans…."
this lad was one of the lead thralls and was able to count and
sort things exactly how I expected. He would keep an eye on
these lads and mark off all I had asked for ….returning a list
of goods ready to be loaded onto the -Lady Nyah-… I moved
towards the rest of the food items…
"1 box each of Cinnamon…Clove…Garlic…Nutmeg and Pepper add those
to the list"
