not far from the barrel he talked the talk and watched...he knew
if he gained me a customer today he would be treated better then
yesterday..and may be get one fish to look at for a while then
eat it.....I would Look over The faces in the area... then I saw
you a nod to you in respect then I would Move towards you...

tail explaining That that Barrel Held many fish mostly the same
size as The Ones he held....... he would sniff them and explain
That they were very well salted and if travelling far on That
ship...he Then pointed to the ship they came from.... and told
them there would be ample room and he would like to load the
barrel... and discuss where it should be put.... talking to The
crew of course .....
the man who stood and looked Over the fish...Nodded listening as
his companion Looked Over The boy... I guess she was thinking he
would be good as a stable boy or something... his worth was not
much...BUT he would remain as mine... the FW moved away the Man
ordered two barrels and waited to speak with me on coin.... the
boy moved Back to the barrel sealed it and looked to me with a
slight smirk....worth two lashings maybe.... I would Look to the
Man and hold Up two fingers ...

as the Man took out the coin and placed it in my hand and gave
me a small note with his name on it.... the slave boy would go
with the man to the gang plank and follow The instructions the
Man gave Him....rolling the barrel up the plank....
"I am pleased I have been told Razi That The inn is well
situated and has Pleasing foods....The verr have been sold to
the inn from My heard....do you remember Essa....well she and I
breed the verr for There better quality meat and
furs....something Essa has Mastered well"?

says to ALL: Razi stepped forward and started to speak with one
of His guards... he was a Busy Man and when he was asked to
return to the inn on business.. he turned and offered a smile
....Offering His best and should return when business was
done.... I of course nodded.... letting Him know I was usually
here.... He left speaking with His guard....My attention Moved
to the Note the man gave Me... and then I watched as the boy
pushed The barrel up the gang plank.....reading the Note I
frowned and Looked back to that man.. and slipped The note to my
sleeve....rubbing gloved hands together slowly..... the silver
rolling in my hands....then slipping the coin in the Pouch I
moved back to the other barrel....
"SALTED FISH"... it was from the wreck but none travelling to
the Port would Know this...pure profit for me...... and Maybe a
new cloak....seen as though My old One was missing

a Merchant and Making coin was all That I thought of when In a
Place that could give me coin...and so far... I was

I would Move Back and forwards along the front of the Fish My
boy returned to gather The next barrel and began to roll it
towards the Ship.... I was impressed with Him.... But continued
to call out.. several people moved over towards me....it was one
of Dhals crew.. and I would grin.. for I knew Them all well... I
had Played cards with them and kitty had won a pair of Boots in
a bet re her dancing a long Long time ago....

he Moved close holding out a hand... I knew I would need to
watch this rascal.. he had always wanted to be able to say... "I
got you Nyah I won the deal" but that was Naught going to
happen....
"You are here with Dhal? "
I asked and he nodded...
"aye"
he replied... he allowed his hand to let go of mine and Moved to
the barrels....
"Good fish?"
"the best of course"....
I would walk round the back of the barrels and Motioned to the
open one...
"Look for yourself..I have No issue with that "
and he did pulling out the fish and checking it over...
"they are all the same quality...?"
he asked as he ran the fish under his Nose...,
"Yes all the best the Thassa has to offer from That Catch"
he moved along and check random barrels.....
"I will take what you have here...Bill Dhal these will feed his
crew....also we will need paga, mead and Bread from the bakery
here can you order ample to feed the ship crew....the men can
leave the ship But I need to feed those who stay aboard....."
I would nod...
"I shall have that organised and do a bill up for Dhal.. I have
not seen Him yet...But I shall do him a good deal on the food
and supplies..."
"Thank you Nyah...and send that sexy dancer of yours ...jamee?
to the ship to find me... i have new boots she may like to look
over"
I would Grin and Nod...
"it is done I shall have her seek you out"
he left just as my thrall returned...
"go get some of your chain and return I will give you orders
then" he left after nodding

most of the port and well... when I get the Likes of Dhals Fleet
here I will need to replenish swiftly....." I lent
forward...."you know what these sailor types are Like " and gave
a smile..."How is my little archer?" I would of course call her
mine....for I was going to be her God mother and that put Me in
a role i took seriously

says to ALL: was not long and That thrall arrived back on the
dock..... behind him was 6 other boys moving fast to keep up
with that Ones steps... I was impressed with this Ladd... he
seemed to make good time and excellent money....
behind them was a wagon pulled by 2 huge bosk and on the tray of
the wagon the paga mead and rest of the fish for the crew of
Dhals ship.....the wagons pulled up at the docks..
and I moved over to the wagon climbing up on to the
tray...moving round counting what was on the Back,,,checking on
the thralls counting....some of them could never pass 4 but so
far his counting was right and all I had asked for was stacked
upon the wagon.... I motioned for the ladds to off load the
goods for the ship
