the docks... my mind on many things.... my boots moved over the
timber docks tapping softly as I walked Looking at the docks and
not where I was going.. was then I saw a Fisherman and his men
run to the water to pull out a person who was drifting and
spluttering in the water... I moved to the Edge of the docks and
Looked down to see this younger Male being helped from the
waters... I saw the steel round his ankle and just watched to
see what would happen next.......

wood had tangled with the chain on your ankle you were lucky it
had not drowned you as it was..... one of the Men pulled the log
and untangled it... as I motioned for the chain to be removed
but the shakle round the ankle would remain....
He is yours Now..." I spoke to the fisherman..."Unless you wish
to take 2 coppers for him...." the fisherman nodded knowing he
had a good win for the coin... I gave a grin and passed over the
coin... the fisherman moved away.... one of my crew members came
over and Kicked at you Making you roll on to your back......I
would Look to see if I had bought a dead body or if you had some
life left in you

flexed my strong calf muscles some mostly out of reflex having
been chained to a galley since leaving brundisiim when sold at
auction to a captain of cos who thoght i could be of use for his
fleet but all that history cleared from my mind when the ship in
route to cos was attacked by pirates and i had the fortunate eye
of an overseer who had not chained my tight to the oar in
anticpation of my services to him the coming night before the
attack so i managed to swim when teh ship sunk from the attack
