Vegetable and flower gardens near the cabins
says to ALL: It was warmer then Usual.. and she still sat in the
chair that Ricci had left her in... she wore only a robe for
now.... it was easier for her to be Treated.... but she also had
on her leathers well someones They were not hers her own had
been cut off... she ran her hand over them ... "ol Josh ... they
were his... and they were far to Big on her... But they did...
her Body was still sore but This had been the longest she has
stayed up... and was handling it well for now.... but knew when
she lay down it was going to be for a good long sleep.....Noone
was about...it was quiet here in Laura today

Vegetable and flower gardens near the cabins
says to ALL: I could Not streach for when i did it pulled on the
work That Had been done on my Back.... the stitches were still
in My back.... and the salve worked well to hide the Pain some
But didn't stop it.... plus I was one who liked to Know if i was
healing and having No feelings Made it a false result on what
was Happening with My Back .....
I watched the home from the seat in the garden and stretched my
leg some.... I tried to stand but I could Not seem to get the
strength to stand .....I hated feeling Useless.....I was better
Then this......News had come from Ol Josh That there was a
change over in The Home of The Ax....I was saddened to Hear
this....

Inside the medical cabin
says to ALL: I was sitting on the cot in the Medical room.. it
was so sterile here and quiet... I had not seen anyone In
days... not that I cared so much i did enjoy my own solitude...
the girl bought over clean Bandages and reached up to Attend to
the stitches on my shin... as she unwound the bandage I
watched... there was only the slightest blush of red ... it
looked good and infection had not become a problem.... the girl
cleaned the wound with warm water....
I recalled the small cub swiping at my shin and I felt the cut
of my flesh in my thoughts...... the lass tugged on One of the
stiches and spoke soft....
" soon Mistress they will be taken out... you will have a
scar...but it will fade in time *s" she smiled up at me.. then
continued to add salve to the wound.... then Moved to Gather
some clean bandages and strapped my leg slow.... I was still so
weak and I hated That I was.... the lass then finished and
tidied the old bandages throwing them to the side in a pile...
she would get rid of them soon enough

Inside the medical cabin
says to ALL: After the lass had done that she looked to my
shoulder........ I ran My hand over my forehead and yawned.... I
was so tired I had not slept for night after night... but it
seemed for ever... and with That I stood... slipping from the
cot to the floor bare feet settled to the floor.....the lass
removed the robe then started to remove the bandages that
wrapped my whole chest... slowly she unwound the Bandage,,, and
again threw it to the side so she could get rid of the items....
she tugged the bandage and i almost went threw the ceiling with
pain... I could not move my shoulders just yet and my eyes
closed as I found cot laying on My belly

Inside the medical cabin
says to ALL: The girl worked on My back as i lay there not
Moving so Much.... the pain was bad at this Moment I think with
all the Movement and Now the washing of the marked area.... the
infection had become a lot better the broths that had been given
had helped with My temperatures... and The constant change of
bandages had kept the wounds free of the mess that come with
such a wound
I lay on My belly My body only covered in My brown Leathers my
back for Now free of any bandages... I lay thinking on what and
How this had happened ... it was because I had dropped My Guard
and almost allowed my death... I owed the Hunters and Ol Josh my
Life... it was Ol Joshes duty But those Hunters they didnt even
like me... I would Make sure They were rewarded.... but for Now
I needed to get better....
the Lass returned with a Bowl Of Warm water I could smell the
added herbs and stuff... it stank... But I had smelt like That
now for so Long I was used to My smell

says to ALL: I arched my back ready for the sting and pain as
the lass dripped The smelly water over my Back.... I was a Tough
Women But this stuff stung and i could not ease that sting....
as I tensed every muscle in My back....which Only made it
worse...then the cloth she held Dragged slow over the area to
remove any of the salve that Had been put on Last change of
bandages.... the droplets of sweat dripping over My brow... I
muttered to myself how much of a FW i was... But it was not the
work she was doing But the anticipation of what she was going to
do ....
was then I heard the other girl come in and i closed My eyes
shaking my head slow... thinking "No"... as she Moved to my feet
and slipped off the socks Ricci had me wearing.... and began to
rub Oil on My feet... and massaged slow and hard... I think this
was to get my mind off what was to happen I didnt Know for sure
But I hated it anyways....

Inside the medical cabin
says to ALL: I still could not hold my arms up above my head...
so the just hung either side of the medical cot... She the girl
continued to clean the wounds... I was sure it would not be long
and The stitches could be removed...it seemed like forever I had
been bed rested.. but it had only been a hand... I wondered when
they could be taken out... and if I could do it Myself they
would be gone... But i could not and I had to rely on the girl
attending my Body for Now... as soon as I could move my
arms....I mumbled
"WHEN " i spoke then Jumped..."when do the stitches get
removed?"... the lass seemed top press hard on My back after i
spoke... I swear she will Be whipped when I get the chance.....
and she ignored me... was she a mute I thought and without
realising I spoke
"are you deaf of dumb girl and this is why you never answer
me"... I heard her chuckle soft
"Mistress if I was either I would not answer you so No I am
neither "...
I growled as she pushed on the muscles on my back again as she
wiped the water slow over my Back....
'well you just maybe one when I am done in here girl".. with
That I gripped the sheets that hung down where my hands rested

- Outside the City -
Approaching the city aboard a ship
says to ALL: The ship was a bit battered from the battle and
then from the storm but the remainder of the trip had been
uneventful once we found the Laurius River and headed upstream
towards Laura. There were more injured men below decks and too
many to be treated on the ship. A few seemed to have broken
bones, then there were the wounded ones from the battle with the
Cosian Roundship. I planned on docking and finding the nearest
Medical facility. Cautiously we glided the ship towards the
docks. We flew the flag of Sulport and I knew it was a flag that
struck fear in many....but would that fear have permeated this
far north? Would we be attacked? I smirked.......and doubted it.
But I wore my weapons just in case as my men all kept watch
I stood 6'2 at 210 lbs. I was carrying:
- In scabbard attached to my belt at left hip was a 35" slightly
curved, single edged saber, a quick and light weapon with almost
the same length as the long sword
- On my back with breakable strap was a 36" Round Shield made of
several layers of hardened leather with 8" center steel boss,
this shield utilizing a punch grip
- In sewn in sheaths on each outer side of both tharlarion
calvary boots were 6" Killing Knifes, single edged, perfectly
balanced for throwing
- Upon my head I wore was a Gorean War Helmet, a padded Y-Helm.

- Outside the City -
Approaching the city aboard a ship
says to ALL: In the cabin, I had realized my shoulder was
dislocated, and got to my feet a bit painfully. I looked around
the room and then found a beam low enough for me to grab, and
hissing I pulled my arms up above my head and then leaned
forward, biting hard into my lip as my shoulder reset with a
resounding , gross sounding pop. I rotated it a bit, and then
got a sling for the arm and set it against my side and wrapped
it down to immobilize it. I then checked my patients, knowing
there were more to tend below decks. I itched to get out to
work. I didn't like to leave people suffering. I busied myself
with these two, unecessarily fussing over their bandages and
vitals, waiting on some sign that I could come out.

At the docks where stone, timber and barrels of fish and salt
are stored
says to ALL: And the ship slowly found the docks being secured.
I scrambled off it and found the nearest man who was admiring my
sleek tarnship and flipped him a silver, more money than he
probably made in two month's work. "Tell me, where is the
nearest Medical Facility?" The man looked at me, astonished that
I had paid for such simple information.....and pointed up the
road and gave me the directions. That's when several of my men
helped the wounded and the injured from the ship, many in
makeshit streatchers....as I intended to lead the way. The rest
of the crew stayed with the ship. I had no idea what to expect
here. I had never set foot in this city before.

more in here, though they'd been mostly tended by now. I then
sat at the desk quietly, just watching mutely as the injured
went by in stretchers. I had no idea what to do with myself, so
I stayed out of the way for the time being.

says to ALL: Was then the girl at My feet began to Massage my
right Calf... hard in that spot that always caused you a sharp
pain... when she felt me flinch she pressed harder happy to have
found the right spot... I am sure both these girls belonged to
tortures... they just seemed to delight in My pain...maybe i had
been a bitch of a patient i was so not sure or did I care... I
wanted out of here and better asap... not at the orders of Those
who knew better.... I was a loner and did everything How I
thought best even if i was none the wiser
was Then the girl began to wipe my back dry ... Just patting The
flesh soft .... and really this time very gentle.... I held On
still knowing she was bound to do More painful things.....
.but I was wrong
was then there was nothing I could hear her washing her hands as
the other girl continued to massage my leg..... then The ease of
The salve was spread over my back... I sighed softly....and i
could feel my body relax to the feel of The cream cover the
areas that seemed to be burning up

quiet. It must have been a sight, a Sulport tarnship docking and
several wounded being carried from it. "I hope your alright
there Cirina. Quite the storm we went thru. It just doesn't seem
your day!" and I laughed. Of course you were my captive and eyes
were kept on you but I had called you my 'guest' and just got a
feeling you weren't going to be bolting away. Where would you
go? A backwards city like this, on the Larius River. How boring.

Karian woman want to go to Cos. It didn't seem right to me. I
just muttered an answer "When we get inside, you can help but
remember, Im watching" and I opened the doors of the medical
facility and the stream of my wounded men filled its lobby
quickly........I saw some official looking person there and
barked out "I will pay a fair amount to have these men treated.
I don't care if you have to kick others out, make it happen!"
The attendant looked at me, then looked at my weapons and the
looks of my men and just froze "ye yea Yes Sir!"

less." -I smiled and nodded and pushed in and nearly facepalmed
at the way you spoke to my fellow Caste. I pulled my veils back
some so I could be recognized by the Head Physician here. I
spoke with a smile to him, exchanging handshakes carefully. I
explained what had happened, and quietly added that you were
likely upset over it all. He nodded and opened up a wing not
quite done yet in the new clinic, and it was off to work for all
of us. While you watched, you'd see nothing but exemplary work
on my part. Not an ounce of squeamishness displayed no matter
the severity of the injuries. I was in my element, moving around
and even workign one handed, I managed well enough with the help
of a younger Green Apprentice. I didn't spare you a glance as I
worked tirelessly, getting everyone better.

says to ALL: I heard horns sounding warnings of a ship
approaching but I didn't pay any attention I was in This sterile
room.... and what happened on the outside I had no need to worry
on... I had enough happening here ... I could feel the salve
coat my flesh thick... and then the girl helped me to sit up....
by now the other girl had finished with My good leg.... it was
difficult at first to Move but Once I had I seemed strong enough
to continue to sit.... My body nakid at the top... The girl
Quickly took up the bandages passed to her by the other girl..
and then began to bind me in them... wrapping The thick bandage
to cover my back and chest... making sure my back and the wounds
had been covered and protected..... I remained still... feeling
just a Little dizzy BUT I was sure if they allowed me to stand I
would feel much better.....
was then The room burst open and floods of men Moved through the
doors.. I quickly gripped my furs and motioned to the lass to
get me a tunic anyones tunic... although I was bound Now in
Bandages and nothing could be seen

with me, gathering more bandages and bringing them to my fellow
Physicians.

I moved slightly out of View from your sight.... the lass passed
me a tunic and I ordered her to help Me put it on...But she
Moved off to help as her Masters in the med room told them... I
was just a FW and these men would of course come first...BUT..A
FW passed and pulled the furs but i needed to now get up and out
of here ..But i would allow the men to make some kind of cover
for me if that was going to be possible..... I Moved back behind
the curtain and struggled some to get the tunic up and over my
head.... still I had trouble raising my arms.....

says to ALL: and my men were all quickly attended to as me and
the small able bodied men of mine that helped bring the wounded
all stood about watching. I saw Cirina quickly cover a woman and
draw a curtain around her. But that face, I knew that face!
I stormed to where that curtain had been drawn and drew it back
violently and looked at you. It was you! The same woman who had
pointed a bow at me more than once. My piercing eyes just stared
at you and that's when I noticed you were bandaged everywhere. I
had no idea why. My voice was firm
So we meet again. Nyah isn't it?

either arm hole and Then with some composure I looked straight
in your eyes....

I didnt smile for I had No idea why you were here and raiding

says to || Nyah Coutrain ||Merch: I was cocky and I was tired. I
had been sailing for days now to head here and I surely didn't
expect to find you here. And now here you were, in bad shape it
appeared and with no bow to point at me. I was not here in
raiding capacity but business untold. Already, I had sunk one
Cosian ship and looted it.....and more were to come if my spies
had been correct. It seemed Laura had signed a trade agreement
with Cos and now their ships were bringing and taking goods back
and forth across the sea. It was why I was here. But I did not
fly a Karian flag but a Sulport flag and the Cosians would have
no idea I was here for them. I had planned on meeting their
convoys of ships at the mouth of the Laurius at the Thassa and
picking off stragglers but in the meantime Volstagg had me
tasked with something to be done here in Laura and that's why I
stood here. I did not tell you any of this of course. Of course,
it was not the Laura ships I was after.
"What happened to you?" and I felt compassion for you then and I
didn't know why. I called out for Cirina "Could you come look at
this woman for me. She looks in terrible shape and I have no
idea if their physicans here are good enough to treat her"

robes were stained all over, but I didn't seem to notice or
care. I settled my gaze on the woman intently studying her with

I took a deep Breath and lent Back against the cot... pale still
But worse Now at seeing you... no Bow yet you here Before me
with weapons... I felt vulnerable something that I didnt feel
ever......but I would Not show that...
I was attacked by a larl....His paw swiping my Back....Infection
from the wounds cut from my back and re stitched...." i paused
and looked to your eyes ....seeing a soft expression for just a
moment...."I come off better" i said almost cocky....."the larl
is but a pelt Now..." I didn't tell you I had not killed the
beast that I had been knocked down from behind... I kept that to
Myself

looked to you ... I hoped that was enough information... I had
been with infection and now that was almost gone....But I still
had stitches in the 4 deep claw gashes that now marked my
flesh.....in my right shin I had more stitches... but they were
healing well enough

and spoke quietly with him, finding out just what had been done
to you so far. I then returned with a frown. "Lady. I hate to
have to do this since you just fought so hard to get that on..
but I really need to see your back. How long ago were you
attacked? "

Coutrain ||Merch: *Cleaning away the dirt she got a better look
at the injuries...cutting away the last of the dressings
frowning as it was obvious there was dirt within them all from
the swelling and heat coming from the cuts and gashes....she
went and got some red wine stirring in some tassa powder...this
was going to hurt like mad and she did not want to cause her any
more pain then need be....coming back to the table she shifted
her lifting her head up a little bringing the glass to her lips
she gave her a little at a time allowing her to
swallow....*drink Nyah....slowly...it will stop the pain....*Her
voice was soft and soothing....bit by bit watching as Nyah
instincutally swallowed the red liquid which would render her
deeper into unconsciousness.*

bare foot to the ground sighing with contentment when the floor
didn't roll and dive. My head throbbed but I knew that I had to
find You, to make sure You were okay. Slender fingers would push
the thick plait away as I reclaimed the earth with my feet.-
-You were there! Alive!
"Master!", I cried out to You, running as quickly as I could
under the circumstances and throwing myself to Your feet. My
teeth were quick to clamp down on my lip as another lurch hit me

been lain. Some nurse looked at me and whispered..."shes
dehydrated. It appears she has been quite seasick,

still very angry and while not overly infected, still held some
heat. I came around to check your rib cage, pushing along each
one and feeling while watching your reactions. I then would very
slowly and carefully bring up one arm and then the other, making
you breathe as deeply as you could each time.

and made a few very shallow cuts to the thin skin betewen the
stretched ribs, careful not to go too deep and hit your lung.
The blood welled almost instantly and at first the pain was
excruciating. Then you could breathe a bit easier. Id let the
blood flow until it was a good natural color and I sighed
softly. "We caught it just in time.. you are doing good.. just a
bit longer.." I gently rested a hand on your arm, keeping it
up.. and let the blood flow.. watching it and watching you for
any signs you might pass out on me from the sensation.

it slump a little.... but i didnt pass out I needed to know what
was happening ... But i let my lip spring back from my teeth...
and licked slow to cover That i had done that..... then I looked
to you ....saying Nothing for Now

sleeping difficult, but it will spare you a lot of grief in the
