says to || Nyah Coultrain ||- Me: Her Master had been attending
to business though she of course would ensure once his evening
meal had been prepared and served she had travelled here under
escort of several Guards. It was rare that she travelled outside
of her Master's cylinder--more often than not it was a direct
journey between the city home and the cottage just outside in a
secluded area of the forest terrain beyond the city. She was
curious as she followed the imposing forms; her shadows as much
as she had become her Masters. A low hum would reverberate
within her throat, occasionally escaping parted lips as she
simply enjoyed the new surroundings and of course....the
anticipation of her new pets!

all i loved the small Beast each and every one of them...even if
some of the Bucks were due to be cooked....after all the guards
hated them.. they were very protective of there females...much
like the guard Themselves.. I chuckled....

says to ALL: -The business that I had attended to was concluded.
I now had ample time to do as I pleased with my evening,
thankfully. So with long strides I would make my way towards the
farmstead owned by Nyah; the merchant of white water. My manner
of dress was casual but predominantly appropriate to conduct
business in. I wore a long tan tunic that draped to my knees and
was secured tightly by the belt around my waist where my spatha
lay against my left hip. The tunic was masterfully crafted and
clung to my muscular figure. My hair was groomed and slicked
back to the nape of my neck and the beard trimmed so it looked
like that of a five o clock shadow. I too had a shield slung
over my left shoulder of the torvie variety. I had heard the
call from Nyah to Synneva and glanced around carefully only to
see my slave was not far off. I would begin to move in the
direction of the sounds to meet with the free woman and slave
for the evening.-

says to || Nyah Coultrain ||- Me: She herself was apprehensive
to cooking verr....she managed to find ways to create other
dishes for her Master that did not include the little beasts,
after her recent excursion to the Fair and the glorious
appearance of those tunic clad little fuzzballs she could not
bear the thought of one of them roasting within her oven. The
shout would startle her, halting her immediately in her tracks
as she lifted her head and looked about quickly before one of
the Guards would gesture in the direction that you were
approaching. She would wait until you were within earshot before
she would offer forth...'Hello Mistress its a beautiful
night...and a lovely farm that you have" she shifted upon her
sandalled heels as her gaze flitted briefly about the area
before settling upon your face with a smile. She had never been
upon a farm before and was uncertain as to how to dress, of
course she knew there was much manual labor involved to manage
such an impressive affair so she had selected a simple though
warm cloak to shroud the sumptuous and vibrant merlot silk that
sheathes her slender frame beneath and to keep the dust at bay.
She assumed of course, there was dust, and hay! and mud! and
animals of course! :D

impending arrival though several Guards escorted her, none made
mention of your approach, it was the turning of several of their
heads however that caught her attention...she was vigilant like
that of her surroundings on the most rare of occasion when
something shiny was not leading her to distraction. She would
pivot, a half turn upon her right heel to catch glimpse of you
over her shoulder. It would seem she had only just recently left
your presence and yet with such ease the color rose upon the
sculpted cheeks, the smile deepening upon her lips as she
regards you.
... Men can be seen at the dry docks repairing ships ...

my approach. Soon enough I was close enough that I could touch
you. The guards had only seen me a few moments prior to that
moment as it was. I would nod towards the guards in a polite
manner, as they had been doing what they were paid to do. When I
was close enough I would move to your left side to slide my
right hand upon your lower back against the fabric of your
silks. The contrast between that sword calloused flesh and the
supple silk was one that was only outdone by my hands upon the
lush ivory of your body. I spoke in a calm tone as that hand met
your back.- “I am glad I caught up with you two.” -Though I said
nothing more after, I did offer a wink and a smile as we made
our way towards Nyah.-

Property fence line... I moved closer to both You and your
guards and turned slightly to Look back and see Alriax
following.... His pace quickened as I guess he saw us both.....
then Moving towards The gates I unlatched and opened it ...
Looking over to The Lush Green fields to My Right and Huge tree
stood tall and proud many Years of age but very useful if you
looked close you would see it full of verr.. they Loved to climb
this was the perfect place for them to do so... they all looked
in the direction of the gate and and began to Move one by one
towards the ground......to My left were more fields of Grasses
fenced off in smaller paddocks

towards you both as you approached.. I felt comfortable in My
surroundings as i spoke to the guard and waited on you My Foot
rested on the bottom rail of the gate... I wore leathers and a
tunic Boots that would cater for the property.. a cape pulled
back on either side of My shoulders left to hang down Over the
Middle of my Back... it was not cold this evening..not yet
anyways...

says to ALL: Mistress Nyah; She nodded as she took several steps
forth to follow where you had approached a gate, she could not
help but retort with a gasping squeal, swiftly quelled by the
press of her fingertips to her lips as she struggles to suppress
the grin of simple delight upon seeing the verr move towards the
gate one by one like little marching soldiers...for a moment she
found herself at a loss, a brief ehn would pass as you posed
your question in which she was altogether enthralled watching
the seemingly routine spectacle that was anything but unfolding
in front of her. She looks to you then abruptly nodding quickly
as she gestures back to the Guards..."I did thankyou Mistress
with their aid, I am lost without them"...a soft laugh escapes
her then.
Master; and her laughter of course grew quiet then stills upon
feeling the press of your palm, her smile spreading wide across
her lips as she cants her head and presses a gentle kiss to the
curve of your jaw, clearly pleased you were joining her..and
witnessing this altogether charming event of marching verr. "Its
good to see you Master....I think you should pick George out"

“Impressive, I had not realized how large your stead was.”
-Though I looked to Syn and then back to you and smiled.- “I
like to surprise people, it's so rare that I get to spend time
with the people of this city, I felt it time to be social.”

the kiss to the corner of your mouth. I would take your request
into consideration and some thought was placed into my answer.
Soon my voice could be heard in a calm manner.- “When I was
young I learned that the right animal chooses you, not vice
versa.” -I would offer a nod of my head as I continued.- “I will
allow you the choice this time.” -My right hand would motion you
towards them, curiously waiting to see which ones you would
choose.-

spoke though her smile only grew more amused....this would prove
more difficult than she thought....she was adamant you were to
be the selector of Georgie though as you said.....perhaps George
would choose you! Georgina of course was an entirely different
matter she had an eye for the cute and lovely...."We will see
Master..who knows perhaps you are the verr whisperer...I...don't
even know what to do.' she stood there beside you clearly at a
loss for a moment and perhaps overwhelmed at this small sea of
moving creatures..she was not sure she could choose and
certainly was not at all sure how to approach them.

says to ALL: I watched you as you enjoyed the verr.. they were a
delight.. I pulled close the gate as you Both entered and locked
it... Looking down the path That Led to My Hut....small yet very
comfortable.... you would Now see the barn.. in the distance..
the smaller verr would jump with excitement and run and butt
gently in to My leg.. My hand would brush there pelts as I moved
along with you both
"The home has been tidied some but I did manage to purchase a
very good property"...
alongside the barn was a smaller barn this housed all the new
additions and the Mothers .. also would be used for the
Milking....scattered in the fields to Our right were small
housed like places for the verr to take shelter in the day.. But
would sleep in the barns.. there were thralls working the area
.. rounding the verr as they approached The barns.. and moving
them towards there feed bins...."the babies are this way....."
and I motioned towards the smaller of the 2 barns

running as you mentioned the babies though decorum would demand
of course that she maintain her composure and though several of
her paces threatened to burst ahead of her Master she restrains
herself, clears her throat and offers in return with a casual
air...'Oh? that sounds wonderful Mistress' silently she was
squealing inside.....there were actually smaller most likely
cuter verisons of these and for that she was excited...at least
until she found herself tugged backwards and with a glance
downwards she realised one of them was chewing upon the hem of
her cloak...'oh....oh no...you...there'...she stoops to tug the
cloak back from the beast who simply stood his ground as she
regards him at eye level...'shoo..."..another tug and
nothing---it was resolute in its quest to eat her
cloak...'shoo!..'...she tugs one final time and sees it released
very nearly falling backwards with the effort

cutest things.... That wee black and white beast was one of the
babies of the breeding program.. his fur was excellent and would
grow Longer then the usual verr... he was an excellent

says to || Nyah Coultrain ||- Me: Her Master for the moment
appeared content to mainly stand back and let her do her thing
and she had swiftly left his side to follow you where you led
inside of the pen immediately sinking to her knees as she opened
her arms and called out to the lot of them in low soothing
tones....and within moments as several danced hesitantly about
her one would approach; a ginger and white baby. It would allow
her to tickle beneath its little chin, the response to which she
laughed in return. "do you bottle feed them Mistress?" she
glanced up to you resisting the urge to simply pull it into her
arms and squeeze it, it seemed content for now to stand before
her beneath her petting hand, wagging its tail. The black and
white one that she had wrestled her cloak back from had returned
as you made mention of him...most likely for a second helping of
her gnawed upon cloak. She twisted upon her knees, slipping an
arm carefully about him as she leans down to purse her lips to
his snuffling nose at which he promptly made a nibbling grab for
the ends of her hair and she jerks back with a laugh
again..."You are right Mistress...I think they both do!"

the babies all seemed to love you.. but you could see which had
actually taken to you... ,
"yes you will need to Bottle feed them but if you have any
issues then I will send a mother over to help wean them...But
for Now I have them on two main feeds a day.. they eat hay and
anything you leave laying about so be careful... but they just
need that milk in the evenings and mornings... in a week when
they settle you can slowly get them off the need for the
bottle.. they will let you know when they are ready....I bent
down and picked up the wee white one that was nuzzling my leg..
and petered it slow...

to keep the area around the Home clean..." I knew you had a hut
and tethered in the day they would clean back any Growth you

says to || Nyah Coultrain ||- Me: She is listening intently to
what you instruct though it is difficult as the ginger baby is
clambering to climb onto her lap nearly toppling her back upon
her heels into the clutches of the black and white baby, who is
now standing with its front hooves upon her back trying to reach
her hair, she is quelling the giggles and nodding. "Yes
Mistress...the cottage is right upon the river there is a
beautiful garden and lawn where it meets the forest, there will
be much for them to forage and of course, they will be wonderful
trimmers! I am hoping I can convince my Master to build them
their own little cottage and pen, to keep them safe of course"
added as a hasty afterthought as she glanced back to him, the
vibrant paint of such a piece of work, she would need to
convince him of later.

says to ALL: -I had been standing back speaking with a guard who
had come to request a paper be signed. I of course had read over
the paper and signed it promptly. That had been finished shortly
after Synneva had been introduced to the verr and became excited
about their presence. I would have a slight smile on my face
while Nyah and synneva spoke about the baby animals.-
-It was then that Nyah spoke to me about the verr being capable
of cleaning away the brush and grass around the cottage. That
was something I had a vested interest in. I would offer the
slightest nod of my head as I spoke.- “Then they will also have
their use. The cottage is outside of the city,but still on the
lands that are maintained by the city. It is my get away from
the distractions of life.” -I offered calmly.-
... The Public Garden fountains are bubbling once again. Flowers
are set to bloom, come sit a while ...

to a frenzy... "you may need to keep them away from the flowers"
and I quickly Looked to you for a reaction..I was still unsure

was more than enough for pets as it was. Then the price was
brought up and I would tilt my head slightly. I had imagined
that cost would be far greater than what you had stated. I would
take a moment to consider the cost as I spoke.- “Is that all?”
-I questioned, but additionally I spoke further.- “The pouch of
coin I gave you earlier should more than cover that and the hay.

was able to enjoy watching the animals with her, and that light
in her eyes when she was rewarded for pleasing me in all ways. I
could be a very hard man to get along with if pushed. However if
things were kept pleasant and I was not having my hand forced by
the actions of others I was quite kind. I would feel the head of
the animal as it lay against my left shoulder and let out of a
soft huffing noise. I knew that I would grow attached to them in
time as well, even if my spare time was not often spent with the
animals but my girl and the people of this fine city. I smiled

then offered as my attention shifted once more to the merchant

-There were few people who knew me outside of business or the
sands of the stadium. I was quite stoic in most cases and did
not leave myself open to be considered weak. Yet even the

enjoyed the solitary life, which stemmed from my exile and time

cottage, it was beautiful at this time of night when the water
had warmed from the sun of the day and the torches illuminated
the gardens so beautifully that were already full of buds that
would yet blossom. You knew well she was happiest there away
from the noise and crush of the city life. Now, she would have
companions it would seem and for that, her life, and her little
family of sorts was complete. She wrapped Georgina up within the
confines of her cloak and surprisingly the baby verr was rather
content, perhaps it was close to their bedtime as well as George
seemed happy to simply recline in your arms. Mistress Nyah did
beautifully to train these two it would seem, or so she thought,
they were the most personable little beasts she had ever laid
eyes upon. "Yes Master...and tomorrow I can show you where I
would very much like to see their own home and small property
laid?" she laughs at that quietly, it was the nicer term for
their hut and pen but she would make it pretty for them, and
cozy.
