So Boullier is still running off at the mouth about missing the
first test. I tell you, that guy needs to learn when to shut the
fuck up. First he says it's because they're "working on the car"
(yea, sure, right) and now he's suggesting that half the grid
will miss it as well.
That's money, dude. Not your development. The only people that
don't test every chance they get are the ones that are flat
broke and living week to week.
I bet 2 teams fall out of F1 by the end of the year. Maybe even
3.

Yea, I saw that the other day. Not the one where he was talking
about others not making it, but where he said they weren't going
because they wouldn't get anything out of it.
This is the same guy that was bitching about needing more
testing to catch Red Bull, is it not?

Yes it is.
Anybody that says they'll get nothing out of testing a brand new
drive train on a live track, no matter what car it's in, is a
fucking moron.

Well, if you'll remember, both USF1 and HRT started the same
way:
"We'll not make the first test because of..." fill in the blank.
The reality was that neither team had the money to even finish
the car. THAT is why they didn't make it. That is also why they
both folded. I mean, for fucks sake, Lotus couldn't even pay
Kimi as they had promised to do TWICE.
That team is in a shitload of trouble. It's sad too, because
it's a damn fine team.

It would be a shame to lose Grosjean from the grid. He must be
the most improved driver over the last few years. I was really
hoping he was going to win a race last year.

Grojean's biggest problem was the pressure he was under to
perform. Had he been put into a team like Ferrari, Red Bull or
McLaren, where they had time to develop him and bring him along
without worrying about money all the time, he'd have been MUCH
better off.
Instead, he was out there doing some really stupid shit in an
effort to prove he belongs in F1. It cost him a lot.

I don't know. The kid can hot lap like hell, but his race craft
just flat out sucks. I always look at guys like Lewis and
Alonso. They made some stupid mistakes, but nothing that
detrimental, and they got results right away. I mean from the
word go.
F1 is supposed to be the pinnacle of motorsport. You shouldn't
take 3 or 4 years to get up to speed at the pinnacle of
motorsport. More likely it should take you 3 or 4 races. If you
can't do it by then, you shouldn't be there.
End of story.
