       Feeding bees

       I have 2 hives, 2 feet apart. Started in May. One empties a jar
       of feed in 4 days, one barely touches the feed, gull after a
       week. 1:1sugar water. Is one hive just better at foraging than
       the other? Will one hive take the sugar water from the other,
       like sharing?
