       Caught swarm

Christy and I went and caught a small swarm for the city of
Summit. No queen, about the size of a grapefruit. Not sure where
it came from so I decided not to combine with my hives. Gave it
2 frames of capped brood, 2 frames of brood and larvae, 1 frame
of eggs, 1 frame of pollen, and 2 frames of capped honey. The
eggs are from a queen from last year since I've had so much
trouble with this year's queens. Plan to give tjem a box of
drawn out comb this weekend. Any thoughts or suggestions from
       the group?

Strange that they would swarm without a Queen. I wonder if
they swarmed with an un-mated Queen. Sounds to me as if you are
on the right track. Check for a sealed Queen cell in about a
week? If no Queen cell add more eggs.

There were 2 small queen cells, they must have lost their queen.

How are they doing now? Has the Queen been mated? Any evidence
       of eggs or brood?
If you need a Queen, I will have about 12 in a day or two.
       They will NOT be mated.
