       3rd year beekeeper

       My name is Jean, this is my 3rd year as a beekeeper. I currently
       have 5 hives. I became interested in beekeeping because I wanted
       to harvest my own honey. I had trouble with
       heartburn/indigestion for many many years. I was on medications
       that didn’t work half the time, when I decided to quit eating
       sugar. About a week or so after my heartburn/indigestion went
       away (yay!). Funny thing is, is that I didn’t really like the
       taste of honey but I had to sweeten my coffee & tea with
       something...  now I can’t use anything but. I am also allergic
       to bee stings (I have to have an epi-pen handy).  But I am not
       discouraged lol. I did not realize however when I first began
       that I would enjoy having bees.  ;D
