October Membership Meeting

Please join your chicken family for this month's educational
meeting on 10-28-18 at the Jon Archer Center, 1070 Schillinger
Road North, Mobile, AL 36608. The meeting will run from 3:00 to
4:00pm. We request that you begin arriving around 2:30 for
fellowship and refreshments.
We are so excited to have as our guest speaker for October's
educational meeting, Mike Sievering, President of the Alabama
Trapper and Predator Control Association. Mike will be sharing
with us an informative presentation on trap types (for the
predators we deal with in keeping chickens), technique, bait and
the laws governing trapping and predator control in urban and
rural settings.
As with every meeting, we will be giving away door prizes and we
will enjoying delicious refreshments provided by our members.
Since we are so close to Halloween we thought it would be fun if
we made some Halloween themed treats for refreshments. We had
some terrific suggestions deposited in our Suggestion Box over
the past few months so please keep them coming. You will find
the Suggestion Box near the Registration Table so please be
thinking about ways you would like to see MBABYCC improve. This
is your chicken club and we want your input!!
Your meeting homework is 1) Put the meeting on your schedule
and come join us on 10-28. 2) Think about what suggestions you
would like to offer to make MBABYCC even better. 3) Decide what
delicious refreshment creation you are going to share.
Our monthly meetings are for those who are paid members of
MBABYCC. If you are not a paid member, we would love for you
join our chicken family! The dues are 20.00 a year and that
covers all family members living in your home. For your
investment of 20.00 you can attend monthly educational meetings,
two picnics a year, a Christmas party and other MBABYCC events.
Margaret Pinter, Hospitality Chairwoman, and her team will be on
hand to check in club members and have membership applications
available for anyone wanting to join at the meeting. She will
gladly answer any questions you may have and will help you join
us if you choose to do so.
