June Membership Meeting 6-24-18

[size=12pt]Please join your chicken family for this month's
educational meeting on 6-24-18 at the Jon Archer Center, 1070
Schillinger Road North, Mobile, AL 36608. The meeting will run
from 3:00 to 4:00pm. We request that you begin arriving around
2:30 for fellowship and refreshments.
Our June meeting topic will be: Keeping Your Chickens Cool This
Summer. We have presentations on: How to Set up Your Coop for
Maximum Flock Comfort, How to Keep Your Flock Hydrated With Food
and Treats and a presentation on How to Spot and Treat the Signs
of Heat Stress in Chickens. Last but not least our Breed
Spotlight is back with the unusual breed the Ayem Cemani.
As with every meeting, we will be giving away door prizes,
having delicious refreshments and enjoying being together. We
had some terrific suggestions deposited in our Suggestion Box at
the Spring Picnic so we would like see any other concerns and
submissions you might want to bring up. You will find the
Suggestion Box near the Registration Table so please be thinking
about ways you would like to see MBABYCC improve. This is your
chicken club and we want your input!!
Your meeting homework is 1) Put the meeting on your schedule
and come join us this Sunday! 2) Think about what suggestions
you would like to offer to make MBABYCC even better. 3) Decide
what delicious refreshment creation you are going to share.
Our monthly meetings are for those who are paid members of
MBABYCC. If you are not a paid member, we would love for you
join our chicken family! The dues are 20.00 a year and that
covers all family members living in your home. For your
investment of 20.00 you can attend monthly educational meetings,
two picnics a year, a Christmas party and other MBABYCC events.
Margaret Pinter, Hospitality Chairwoman, and her team will be on
hand to check in club members and have membership applications
available for anyone wanting to join at the meeting. She will
gladly answer any questions you may have and will help you join
us if you choose to do so.
