STOLEN FLOCK ALERT!

STOLEN FLOCK ALERT!!
The following information was passed along to me this morning by
Connie Mixon Prichard of Mother Goose Farms. One of Connie's
customers, Elizabeth Tolbert unfortunately had her flock stolen
last night. As you can understand she is very upset and will be
filing a report with the authorities this afternoon. Elizabeth
would like for everyone to be on the lookout for someone selling
these birds at area swaps as they are very special to her. She
also wants to remind everyone in her area to be vigilant about
locking up your flock so the same thing will not happen to you.
“The following birds were STOLEN on the night of February 9th in
the Citronelle area. They were put up around dark and discovered
missing this morning, February 10th. The homestead is NOT
visible from the road.
Birds stolen: 1 Black Silkie hen, 1 Rhode Island Red hen and 1
Barred Rock pullet, 2 Brown turkeys ...one had a relatively long
beard the other wasn't as long, 2 Sebastopol geese (smooth
breasted hen & curly gander) and 2 mallard ducks a boy and a
girl.”
