        They are right that the US and Europe

       They have correctly pointed out that the US helped undermine the
       most democratic and economically progressive options in the
       post-Soviet transformation of Russia and elsewhere.have failed
       to create a security environment that includes Russia and other
       post-Soviet countries. Our countries have long had to adapt,
       make concessions, accept humiliating conditions. However, US
       hegemony has reached its limits.
       The United States has lost its ability to represent its
       interests as the common interests of Russia and China, it cannot
       impose them with military might, and its economic influence is
       shrinking. Russia no longer reacts, adapts or makes Telegram

       concessions, but has regained the capacity
       for action and is capable of shaping the world around it.
       Russia's toolkit is different, it is not hegemonic, it is based
       on brute force rather than soft power and economics. However,
       brute force is a powerful tool, as you all know from the
       behavior of the United States in Latin America, Iraq,
       Afghanistan and around the world.

       Russia is an autonomous agent, its actions are determined by its
       own internal political dynamics, and the consequences of its
       actions are vast and dramatic. Russia shapes the world around it
       in the same way that the United States has done, albeit by other
       means. The feeling of unreality, that "this could not have
       happened", stems from the fact that the belligerent Russian
       elites are able to impose their delusions, to transform them
       into facts on the ground, to make others accept them despite
       their willpower. It is no longer determined by the United States
       or Europe. I see how the western left does what it has done
       best: analyze US neo-imperialism, NATO expansion. It's not
       enough anymore. It does not explain the world as it really is.
       The world cannot be exhaustively described only from the actions
       of the United States to shape it or the reactions that this
       provokes.
