what would you like to hear MATT sing in the semis and final?

Ok he can sing anything but what should he sing for the finals?
For me I would love to hear his version of unchained melody. and
maybe not for x factor but john denver's the eagle and the hawk
would be amazing by matt.

patrick, unchained melody? I think would be no sweat for Matt's
voice, but for spine tingling (as he does regularly) Bridge Over
Troubled Water?

Unchained melody has been done too many times - and is very
"Gareth Gates"...I'd love to hear him to "Forever Autumn"
(another Justin Heywood vocal) or Bridge over Troubled Water
(just a really simple vocal). He'd smash it!

U2's With or Without You? Nilson's Without You ? Bridge over
Troubled Water ... anything that lets his voice soar. The full
version of The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face would be
breathtaking. Sure he will do justice to whatever songs are
chosen. Can't stop listening to the one's he's already done and
can't wait to hear more. Just hope that he's feeling better.

for the Final, he would have to sing something that really gets
the audiences' emotions. Usually it would be a song that
everyone associates with something that happened to them.
Matt seems to reach out to the audience when he sings a raw,
stripped classic. For me, that ultimate Final song would
be Heaven by Bryan Adams. Using just a piano for the
arrangement. A guaranteed tear jerker and a definate
vote-keeper!
As much as I respect Rebecca for her talents (i'm a red
Merseysider), I think Matt's musical taste appeals to me more.
May the best singer win!

Reprise of First Time Ever I Saw Your Face would be good. Bridge
Over Troubled Water is a mystical song and could do it for him.
If there was a Christmas theme then Greg Lake's I Believe in
Father Christmas would be suited to his voice. Watch him sing
Groove is in the House on the internet, on You Tube, it is just
amazing - best version ever of that song.
Matt to win. He is ace.

I read somewhere that he will sing Many of Horror by Biffy
Clyro. I have the cd and it's great stuff, I can't wait to see
if that is the song choice.
A perfect rock ballad with the right guitar tune for Matt,
lyrics that speak to your soul, not an obvious or cheesy one and
I think anyone who was ever in a love-hate relationship or had a
broken heart can relate to that.
Personally, I would love Matt to sing his own song, it wouldn't
be a risk at this stage cos he already won people over.
