Does the U.S. government know of the existence of vampires?
i have a feeling that the NSA would very much like to know about
bloodsucking threats to some of the nation's more important
people, especially if Toreadors and Ventrue have connections to
the national and international community. I can understand if
they don't know about the nosferatu or gangrel because they
confine themselves to the "common" people, rural areas and back
alleys.
Actually I bet the upper echelons of the government and
millitary know about (and use) vampries. immagine secret
service agents with auspex and hightened senses or hollywood
style SEALS with maxed potence

They'd probably have ghouls at they're disposal, but chose
wisely before making a ghoul from there. Some ghouls can get
PRETTY out of hand.. ;)

No one finds out about vampires and goes, "Hey, I could use
that." Vampires don't really get used unless it's by other
vampires. Now, it could be possible that vampires have
infiltrated the higher ranks, or maybe that their ghouls have,
but there's I don't see any government discovering their
existence and trying to use them. Well, maybe the Nixon
administration, but even that's pushing it.
