       The story of the graveyard
       By: Kayanna1990 Date: July 6, 2012, 4:30 pm
       ---------------------------------------------------------
as Kay and Simon turn the corner and approach the decrepit part
of the grave yard so begins the story of the graveyard
mr. Galen - take it away for the top of the scene.

night falls on the St. Jude cemetery, an overgrown and forgotten
relic of a more decadent time. over the years the city had grown
around it and no body had been buried in it for decades.
overhead, an overpass loomed and to either side were abandoned
       warehouses.
the graveyard itself was once a sprawling necropolis full of
beautiful Mausoleums and statues of angels, but the names have
all worn away and the angels have all broken. at the very center
lies the Bellamy Mausoleum, a gothic style monument so some once
great, now forgotten, soul. the marble angels that once guarded
the dead here have lost all their features over time and a
single bit of red graffiti reads "Life is for the Living"
on the roof of the grave, sitting like a demented king on an
unholy throne, sits the fey from earlier.

Simon walks up with Kay, admiring the beauty in the decay of the
graveyard, his eyes darting to and from the moss that overwhelms
the graves, and scents of writhing insects. although not the
most glamorous think he has ever experienced he is filled with
       appreciation for the graveyard.
upon seeing the fey Kay thinks is from the play, and Simon hopes
is not, for the delightful trickster in the story to fall so
       would be disheartening for him.
Simon has learned many tricks in his days on earth, but one of
the most important and recent is the trick to getting people to
react friendly upon first greetings. AKA he lets Kay speak
       first.

"well looks like we found you, sooner than I had ever hoped but
       here we are."
she curtseys before him and looks at him curiously. the flashes
in her head before of a once happy man, beautiful and full of
life decayed into the now spiteful man before her. she has so
many questions to ask but that would just be rude.
"so i guess you knew that we were coming?"

he leaps from the roof of the mausoleum to the ruined steps and
gives a sweeping bow. "i knew you wouldnt be able to let a
mystery like this go... you want to know more." he grins evily.
"you have so many questions... tell me, did you read my book?
what did you think?" he actually looks excited and proud when he
       says this.

"It was really Pucking good actually!"
Says simon honesty, and with out emphasis on the pun. and
cutting to clear the air to make sure no elephant in the room
would appear in the middle of a grave yard tonight, says "My
favorite part was the ending where the play with in a play felt
like the writer knew how our lives felt. Do you get any deep
sense of connection with the story like that. as if, the writer
was talking directly to you, about you even?"

he gives Simon the death glare he should be very familiar with
by now. "you really have absolutely NO sense of dramatics or
subtlety do you?" he straightens up and sighs, picking up the
broken head of one of the angels in his right hand. "young
people... what is the world coming to?"
he turns back to simon "yes, i picked that particular play for a
reason. lets just say im a big fan of puzzles and that book was
your first clue. its a bit of a gimmie really but i thought i'd
       start out easy."
"a little known fact about that play is that its a true story...
mostly. shakespeare never was any good at sticking to the
       script."
he seems to purposefully avoiding the topic of his name. the
       direct approach may be necesarry.

Simon is barley starting to get the feeling that tact and poise
is valued by this man-thing, but he may be wrong.
"Mr Copper Bottom, or Crisp Autumn Leaf, o Puck, or Riddle
Maker, or what ever name you actually give for us to use.....
       why are you helping Kay?"
with a quizzical look stemming from desire to know more than
anything, "What does she mean to you that you would lay out such
       a puzzle?"

he laughs at the question. "who says im helping her? thats a
dangerous assumption. and as for what she means to me... lets
just say that we have a very long history and i owe her."
       he turns to kay
Well, you wouldnt have come all this way if you didnt have
       questions. ask away.

"well i guess the first question that i have is how far do we
'go back'. i would assume from the visions that you put in my
head that its pretty far. would you not agree?"
she sits down on the grass and leans her back on the tombstone.
she has a feeling that this is going to be a long night.
