Upon hearing the blonde woman's voice, Lloyd swiftly shifts his
head over to the bar to see the woman. Putting his finger up to
the woman he's talking to, he says:
"Hold on one moment if you please. It seems that an old
acquaintance just walked in."
Lloyd goes to the bar and takes a seat next to the blonde, with
the left side of his lips grinning.
"Well I didn't expect to see you in town Flora. What brings you
in?"

At his approach, Lorelei's face shifts from serious to somewhere
between enticing and enchanting, and she assumes the matching
vocal tonalities. "Lloyd, darling, what a pleasure to see you
again!", she exclaims lyrically as she kisses the air near his
cheek, then adds seductively with a hint at mischief, "It's been
far too long!"
She gestures to the bar stool next to her, indicating that he
should join her, "I'm actually here on business", she explains
with another smile, then with a wink, "But, if you're inclined
to join me for dinner later this week, maybe I can mix some
pleasure in too?"

Just outside the door to the Lounge, a familiar, melodic
laughter drifts to the ears of the petite, dark haired woman
left sitting by herself in the chair. Just as quickly, it is
followed by the voice it belongs to, "..and it was a pleasure
running into you as well, Richard! Have a wonderful evening!.."
The clicks of heels can be heard as a woman with raven hair
dressed in a blue and purple sundress walks past the entrance to
the Lounge toward the hotel lobby. Sarah glances through the
door way and pauses. Squinting her eyes, she stares at the
petite woman a moment, "Alice?"
Her eyes widen as full recognition sets in. Her face brightens
with utter glee, "Alice!" Sarah hurries into the room, ignoring
the two at the bar, and kneels at the feet of the small woman in
question, gently setting her hand on Alice's knee. She peers
into her elder's face with a mixture of relief and joy.

"I'll have to see about it. I do have my own appointments I must
keep. However, if everything checks out, I would be more than
happy to join you. My question is this though: How many others
could or would be joining us?"

about the subject is just another way to say "what mood I'm in".

"I barely think it eavesdropping when it didn't take any effort
to hear it. But in other business, who is your gorgeous friend
with you?"
He gives a wink to the assistant.
"Can I get you a drink my dear?"

gouled attendant, and then back at him. "Really?"

Lloyd chuckles by Flora's reaction.
"Sorry, wanted to see your reaction. You know how I get when
you're like that."
