"well lets see. it i a puzzle.
he said that i knew him from before sooo.... something must have
happened. something big enough to alter who he was or what he
was. big enough to make him the bitter shell he is now. with the
way he was talking to me i think that i might have done this to

"wow your past lives make me look like a saint" he says the
overly-dramatic depiction with a wink to let Kay know to take
that with a grain of salt.
"Do you think that there could be a way to "spark" your memories
from your past to try to get an understanding of them.... like
set up scenarios that might be related to it? I have seen that
done in many movies when the protagonist needs to
uncover-something?"

Stroking his goatee, "Actually, sometimes it feels like one of
the Brothers Grimm himself is weaving us into one of those
unseelie fairy tales from beyond time and space... maybe what we
need" Simon holds up the double fingers to say "is a "bad guy"
to help us."
Simon paces a second as he reflects on the story book feel to
any changelings life, where story and lessons actually run their
fates.
"I do not know what we should do ... but... I don't think that
Ariel would have ended up with her prince if she had not sought
out Ursula the sea witch. She would have been still sitting in
the sea, not growing as a character."
"Really..... what character from any story you know, thought
that although a source of knowledge or aid was too dangerous to
seek out, and was a good story worth telling?"
Grabbing Kay's hands and whipping her up into his arms, he
clutched her hips close to his and whispered "We may suffer
untold consequences, but let our story be worthy of
remembering."

"ok so we meet up with him then? why couldn't he just give us a
phone number or something. somehow now that we are deciding to
talk to him on our terms im nervous."

Simon whispers into Kays ear before kissing her gently. all that
can be heard is a soft musical tune that is softly resounding
from the ear buds Clark left on the counter when he went
upstairs for a moment.
"when would you like to go?"

Looking at the sunlight that indicates the evening sun pouring
in through the front windows, Simon says "Well, the couch is
comfy and the friend I am staying with happens to own and live
in this store, and says I can crash on the couch any time for a
while."
"How about we take a small nap until night fall, when the
streets are all fun and busy, and then we can go with the book.
I can even brew us some coffee for the trip."
Clark returns from upstairs and puts his ear buds back in and
starts reading a copy of "postmodern magic" at the counter.

she curls up next to Simon but doesn't immediately fall asleep.
"so... the reason why you were living with the knocker was
because you don't have a family? and have you talked to
Cassandra since the winter?"
she kinda feels bad for bringing it back up but she would better
like to understand what he is all about.

when I flopped sides, but I think that even if any of my family
were alive, I would of still went..... maybe, he was fun to mess
with."
after a pause "I see Casandra every year on her birthday, but I
don't think she is aware I am watching more often than that."
