As a response to Marcus, Kay looks at him with her huge green
eyes and doesn't blink then when he drops his gaze he has a very
confused look on her face and blinks a lot while looking down,
she is blushing a little bit. she mumbles to Sarah...
"just a soda please"
and walks off to the sofa and plops down on one end kicking her
feet up to the take up the space on the rest of it till they get
there.

Pride walks over to the man that just entered the bar.
"hello there I have not seen you around before. I see you know
the lovely lady here. I am Pride and you are?"
While that is going on Marcus orders a certain kind of drink
that him and Ms. Sarah were talking about earlier. Once he gets
his drink he walks over to where Kay is and sits down across
from her and looks on at the stage ready for the show to start.

Kay sits there for a moment and looks up at the stage, then
Marcus, then the stage again, then down. she starts to say
something then stops and just sits there. she looks very awkward
and slightly confused. her checks are still a little pink.
"hmmm"

He takes a sip of the thick red liquid from his glass. He looks
at Kay out the corner of his eyes.
"Something on your mind Kay?"
He says as he takes another sip of his drink still looking at
the stage wait for a reply.

"well something has been bothering me slightly, i feel....
compelled... i guess, i don't know. To bend over backwards... to
do anything i can for you. i don't understand it. Before i moved
here and met back up with you it wasn't like this. i don't know
what to think. It's all very strange. does that make sense?"
she looks back down at her feet, very annoyed with herself and
blushing.

The tattoo-covered man nods at pride.
"I can tell you're terribly observant," he remarks
sarcastically. "If you had been listening, you'd know the lady
called me Sparrow. You may call me the same. It's... nice... to
meet you."
He pauses for a moment, then addresses the group as a whole.
"So no one has seen Devon, then?"

" well what I can say I am an observant kind of guy. But to
answer you question last time I saw him was at the Bittere
Realität Rhythm and Blues club.......but that was last night.
Meanwhile back with Marcus an Kay.
He sits his glass on the table and motions for her to come close
so that no one else can overhear them.
" Remember that time when you called me to help you.There was
some mages and there was a malkie i think. In order for me to
help you all you took the bullet for your selfish friends and
became blood bonded to me and in turn i would help you all out.
Now that means is hmmmmm to some it up you have a crush on me.
Not just any type of crush.........think of it as a crush on
steroids. Let me guess to you know I am joy to be around. When I
am not around you think about me. Hell you may even be in love
with me right now. That can also happen with a blood bond. That
pretty much sums it up."

a normal thing that your kind does to people?"
she looks slightly upset, but very curious as she tries to
understand what is happened to her since their deal.
she looks down at her feet again and starts to talk in a low
voice.
"It has been hard to live a normal life since I started my
adventures. All of these emotions that i can't control. I feel a
pull back to everything i want. The excitement and thrill of
what happened 5 years ago, the need to find it again. But there
is something very wrong with wanting this, i know it. people who
go looking for problems usually find them, and then they turn
out to bit them in the ass. When I made that deal with you I
didn't know what i was getting myself into. I didn't understand,
I don't regret it for one minute. But it is difficult to
comprehend all of it now that i see you face to face. I thought
i figured everything out...
My friends have died because of me, the very people i tried to
help have ended up dead... And its all my fault. I still don't
understand why or how it happened. One minute we are trying to
save the world the next we are forced to sacrifice our selves
for it. ironic i guess... you end up killing the people you try
to save. "
she looks up and realizes she went on a tangent
"im sorry, that was a mood kill. ignore me."

"mmmm is it a normal thing. Mmmmm depends on who you ask. With
me your the first person I have blood bonded. Ask someone else
they may say something else. With a few drops of blood you can
get anything you want out of a person. So blood bonding is a
great tool to have in your back pocket.
He shrugs.
" Do not worry about being a mood killer. Kay I have seen a lot
friends, family, and significant others die. Be it someone or
something killed them or I just out live them. I am not going to
sugar coat it for you. Seeing people you care for does suck. But
just pick yourself up and keep going. There are a lot of people
in the world so you will come across a lot more friends. "
He finishes his drink and waves a server over and ask for a
refill of the same stuff.
"any other questions you have or stuff you want to share?"
