I sure hope you're right, Clark.
Lydia ponders Clark's offer, wondering whether or not it is
appropriate to ask if they have any extra reserves of the good
stuff She decides against it. "No thanks, though I appreciate
the offer." Once Clark returns, Lydia glances over to the
translation of the book of the dead then back to him.
"So, you said their was a lot of angst against Amenhotep coming
       from the book? How so?"

"The tone of resentment that practically drips from the
sentences. The brazen analogies linking the fall of man with the
creation of a single deity to explain the forces of the
world..... and this" Clark sputters out though mouth fulls of
       Poptarts.
Clark pushes the book towards Lydia for a moment. At first Lydia
can see nothing special at all on the page beyond the same
glyphs all the pages have. Yet the ancient smell of blood begins
to crawl up the nostrils of her long dead nose.
"There is a secret message soaked into the page. Its invisible,
       but noticeable."
Raising a brow and looking up in thought "Like a lemon juice
message you do as a child, but more.... vampire-ey"
"Its a crude drawing of an eviscerated pope...... I do not think
the person who wrote this had a good view of organized religion
       at all."

Lydia's mine begins to wonder at the possibilities of who could
have done such a thing, but no such names came up in her mind.
"Wow...organized religion's never been my cup of tea either, but
this... Obviously, whoever wrote this knew of our world. How
come their little message was directed to our kind?"

"Not sure. Who ever did it had something important to say but
also to hide if they went through all this trouble. I am
starting to think that these are victorian.....english
       victorain."
"The shody work of mimicing the script of the preist cast from
egypt, the artificialy aged leather, and the pages are not only
yellow from age. If you lick them you can tell their is
remenants of tea and coffee. Probably staining the pages to
       further display age."
"And since tea did not appere in europe untill the 17th century,
I would be hard pressed to say it was much earlier than the
       1660's."
Suddenly looking ver serious. "as far as why our kind?." Clark
smiles goofily at Lydia "I have no clue"
"Just a thought! we should test the blood of all the pages to
see if they are from the same or different sorces. that might
lead us to finding out who it was. Do you know any thamaturgy?"
